Good for you for trying to get your understanding before your trip. I think you can see that on this forum, that though there is a wide range of personalities and we may all be 'mongers & pervs, in general we share a common desire to treat the ladies fairly and with at least a modicum of respect. I think it's fair to say that most of us would urge you to do the same.

These girls are inexpensive enough. Please don't give all of us a bad name and try and pull a fast one to save a couple of bucks.
How about this....for all you that are trying to save a whole 2 USD, how about we all meet at a bar 1 night, I treat for the 1st 2 rounds, saving you 6 or 8 dollars, then you can just pay the BG the full price and NOT try and rip her off. In the end you will have spent the same amount of money and you won't have to try and screw anyone over.
Even better idea. Why not save a few thousand Baht and try and pull that with an american "working girl" and see if you can get away without getting cut.

IMHO- Currency exchanges are everywhere. As I've stated before go to the currency exhange at the airport once through customs, get enough baht for the taxi and first night, (5-10 thousand should do ya), and just peel of 1000 for short time. The math isn't that hard, comes out to about 22$ US. Bring a calculator to convert and double check as needed. Enjoy.......

Agree with the bros suggesting to stick to the Thai Baht. Quite a few TGs are not fast in calculations and we will do them a nice service being cautios by exchanging a suitable amount of money before the hunting sessions......
Ah! but tips might be an exception, I reckon.
