Be careful with Fls. You don't know if they have nasty BFs, you don't know where they live etc etc. With a BG you can go back to her workplace if there's any problem and at least try to get some recourse.
A FL can fcuk off with your phone or your wallet or ??? and be in Kamphangphet before you wake up.

My first trip to LOS I didn't entertain the thought of a FL because of the "fear and unknown" after reading some posts on here.
But a little common sense will go a long way to ensuring your treasured possessions are in place in the morning. First, make sure she leaves her ID at reception (or if she is a long stay, for reception to retain a photocopy of it). Make sure you have a hotel with in room safe (and use it). The only thing left for the girl to swipe would be your cloths (easily and cheaply replaced).
And this is AFTER using your first common sense of assessing whether you are getting the right vibe from a girl. A little chit chat and observation of body language should see you stay out of trouble.

The idea of a $6,000 baht insurance (now limited to beer bars in pattaya) with mamasan "on your side" sounds good in theory, but read a few posts on this forum and its really a hit or miss affair. With that in mind, what has your $6,000 baht paid for??? For that money you could set yourself up with accommodation for a month in Pattaya. Or if you are BigDusa, 6 nights of LT with a wai from the girls being thankful that they got even that 
At the end of the day, there's always a little gamble whether its with a Fl, BG, MP, or gogo. Also, treat the girl with a little respect and kindness and there should be no reason to rip you off (unless of course she is well and truely jaded - but then reread the above to address that issue).
Finally, as they say its up to you. But I would take the ANY girl on a 2 -3 day "test run" first, before I committed myself to offer a 'per month' basis. From what I've read and my own limited observations, the biggest trouble you get into is when the girls tangle your words (either through communication problems or with jaded intent) and an "expectation" arises and you are still around when they realise that expectation is not going to happen.

PS: With the "uni/office gal thing" wouldn't the ones you'd be after simply be "part-time FL's"???? Whats the difference???? Seems the part-time thing would get in the way more, if you want her to show you around or you want to sleep in, in the morning. Also you would get "Me tired, me go home now, me work tomorrow". You look at your watch and its 10pm, to bad for you even though you don't have to work.
Pros and cons on both sides - just don't write FL's off because of the hype

I'm not sure if that's what he ment.
More like paying/being with a girl that is/was working in the bar and is kinf of still representing it and can get a hold to later/during if there are problems. This is how I understood it.

Absolutely, can't promise anything based on a few hours, have to hang out with her at leats a few days.
And not even mention the prospects of travelling a little before that

I guess you're right, but a little variations could spice it a little. I'm open to different ways of handling and see it as it happens.
I'm also interested in the contrast between these girls. I want to get to know a little how they like to spend their time and what kind of persons they are compared to ones I have met.

I realise this kind of thing usually happens. Before my first trip I was very careful about many things but afterwards had a laugh about it.
It's good the bros here give words of caution and we should remember the dangers there are but also not get overly careful if we feel okay about the girl.
