I'm not supporting her. The money is in Siam Commercial Bank, untouched for now, in a joint account. She will be away for a month with the punter from Wales and there's no way I was gonna change that fact - it was a done deal. She told me the truth about it and I already accepted it.
I will be back in Bkk before she will and if I choose to do so, I can pull all the money right back out of that account.
Many other punters will send sponsorship money every month to their BG, even as she receives money from others and still turns tricks every night. The way I see it, at least she isn't lying to me, she isn't trying to con me, and I realistically don't expect her to get out of the game completely until I can be there with her full-time or support her. I already explained to you that she ain't ever moving back to the village - not gonna happen - she's a city girl now.
You know, I could scream at her till I'm blue in the face that she better not screw anyone else, but the fact is we've only known each other for 3 months and I seriously doubt at this point she's gonna throw away every other punter she's got in the hopes that I will come through for her.
Remember, I've got a live-in girlfriend in the States and a young hottie waiting for me in the Philippines, so it's not like I've got any moral high ground to stand on here.
I do see your point DG, and it really is kind of difficult to justify my actions when you look at things from a traditional male (jealous, possessive) point of view, but let's face it -- we're talking about trying to have a long-term relationship with a Thai prostitute -- I don't think the traditional courtship procedures really apply here, do you?
By the way, you might think I'm some kind of a wimp, but I can guarantee you that sexually I'm taking full advantage of her every orifice, on a frequent, rigourous, and prolonged basis, and making damn sure the next punter (whoever it may be) has a very high bar to perform to. I sincerely doubt you'd give her very much to think about DG, all your rough and dirty talk notwithstanding.

I think Harry is approaching this in a reasonably rational manner. If it doesn't work out for him then he will know himself & he will choose the right time (for him) to end it. If it means being played for a length of time then so be it. That's life.
He will get over it. It is unfair to throw the towel in too soon. Moving to Bkk is the key point. This relationship has the same chance of success as any other in the world - 50:50. The emotional fallout will be the same. Relationships with BG's have their own unique problems and may be more difficult but the basic principles behind all relationships remains the same. Relationships fail all over the world for numerous reasons. What's the problem? Cut the guy some slack & let him get on with it!

In reading this I cannot get the picture out of my mind of Harry checking his balance in the SCB ATM only to find that the entire bank account has been withdrawn remotely by ATM by his teeluk in Wales to pay for the wedding.
