In fact allow me to tell you a story of a girl up country about ten years ago, after 2 years of sponsership there.
She was seemingly pretty committed * (and some ofcourse are if choosen wisely) Anyhow it was time I visited her there unannounced, (an advised thing sometimes before advancement to visas or larger financial committments)
I said I was visiting my uncle who was sick and gone for two days, and his area was remote so dont worry if we didnt get reception on a cell phone.
Then I took off (literally)
A Kin who was said to be an aunties son, was found in bed with her at 11pm.
Worse was to come.
Western shirts and a British audio Learn English tape pack of 4, along with photos of her and him north and south were discovered. (while I was collecting some belongings) Perscription medicine written for this guys name issued overseas.
At that point she freaked out, and my exit was being blocked by the Thai lover, and now 2 others rushing in.
But I was suitably so murderous in my rage and by now armed with a curtain rod and threatening no one was game.
I got out of the village and got the authorities.
By this stage all (not just her immedaite accompliaces) denied I had been there at all ever. The evidence was all gone, and the story was now "farang threaten hurt me because I friend he on phone so he send me, but I warn him just friend"
So the lesson I learnt back then is to actually be aware of shit.
Even most recently with a wonderful girl from the north, (that I deeply regret loosing) I would be mindful of how easy it is to kill in the countryside.
Posion isnt needed.
So choose carefully.
Get a straight girl if possible.
As for the Pattaya high flyers that "get written off as sucides" well thats another story isnt it.
