I can't help it. I suspect some folks will object to me saying this but...Does Thailand really need people coming here to approach students on the streets, looking for sex? Even if you have no regard for the Thais or their feeelings, think about this...
Thais are far from happy about the fact that this place is our playground. A lot of them have a negative veiw of Falangs because they feel that we treat LOS as our sexual supermarket -- in the case of the sex industry there is a trade off for them as obviously Thais make a lot of money from it. But in this case, where's the trade off? Thais have an idealized veiw of their youth who have gone on to tertiary education and how do you think they would feel about foreigners coming here to "corrupt" them? As a falang resident, I don't need the bad image perpetuated.
And I'm not even going to mention about what the typical Thai university student would feel about Falangs approaching them with such a motive.
Aren't there enough girls who are ready, willing and even sometimes happy to "party" with us? If you need a "student" at least go through some agency that provides students who DO want to pusrue P4P.
Sorry. I'm really not trying to judge anyone or curtail anyone's fun in LOS. Do as you like, of course. But perhaps you should consider the effects of your actions on both Thai society and the falangs who interact with it --including yourself.

Oh, there are plenty who try to pick those girls up (locals and foreigners to a lesser extent). ÝAnd hello... it's not exactly hard to spot them because there are a few hundred thousand just in Bangkok all wearing black and white uniforms. For some reason, most of those field reports get lost I think. Or, the ones that slip through seem a bit made up. Stranger things have happened. I mean hey, I once got an extra 1,000 Baht note out of an ATM once. I don't think I'll comment on what these guys chances are. The odds will vary anyway across the entire spectrum of classes of students. Ý
And of course, considering the inordinately large # of Cassanova-Don Juan superstuds we have on this board (who often turn out to be 50 year old 'retired CIA agent' midgets in real life), surely the odds of picking up these "holy grail regular girls" (whatever a regular girl is) must be pretty good eh? Ý Ý ÝOf course, when you see these guys working 'their magic' in places like Orbit, Forte (where the girls are of the lowest class -albeit the upper lower class- as it is), or even karaoke bars and regular bars, it doesn't seem terribly magical. First of all, IMO your handle is truly a shitty one. The people who will be reading it are very unlikely to take kindly to your request. That isn't a personal comment, it applies only to your taste in handles and it's just my opinion.
Second: a "student" picking you up is a different situation than what I addressed.
Third: in Thai, depending on the formality of the situation and / or the speaker's preference / habit many words can be pronounced with either an "R" sound or an "L" sound (or somewhear in between). I believe that if you are in LOS you will hear Thais more often pronounce it Falang than Farang. In any case, both are correct.

as easily be an MP/BG/Hostess pursuing a part
time study course, interesting how wearing a
