I have read many great FRs where the girl's privacy was never compromised. A good example is Butnutz's Anal Crusades. Who the hell is Anne? Could be any of the million girls on the streets.
I hate to use the word rule, perhaps guideline is a better word. If we want to recommend a girl, then leave out the details. If we want to write the details, then leave out the girl's identity and place of work. That's very easy to follow.
And there have been occasions, where we mention, "Your Mileage May Vary" (YMMV - need to add that to the FAQ), so what's the point of singling out a girl in a bar. The writer may have had a good time with her, but when you get her she could be a starfish for some other reasons.
As you all know, putting rules is one thing, enforcing it, ummm... that's another.

And I don't think any of us want you spending your time patroling the forum and having to enforce more rules. Then it would just become a pain in the butt for you, which would not be good.
And .... I think that your suggestion will help keep the female in more of a private light, but still giving out enough information.

I DID NOT argue "it is OK to post anyone's personal info because it benefitted a particular poster". Never happened.
I was discussing whether or not this forum should be kept secret from TGs and whether they should be allowed to know that they are discussed. I f you read my posts, I try to point out both the pros and cons of allowing themm to know and I came down on the side of openesss.

Toto's post was written as though to a bunch of close friends, guys who could reasonably be expected to be pissed off that some OUTSIDERS might try to use the info to advantage with some MP girls and BGs. ŬBut the ENTIRE WORLD can see these reports. ŬAnd for every blatant case where some idiot takes some BGs to an Internet cafe to read what we post, a thousand little injuries are possible. ŬAnd only the injured party (BG) has the right to decide whether the injury is significant.
I totally agree with your words: "B-girl identity + place of work + detailed field report is NOT a good cocktail. "

The word 'hypocrite' has been bandied about extensively hereabouts. ŬI find those who use pseudonyms to post their private predilections and protect their identity, and then insist on making their non-consenting providers' identities public, the HEIGHT of hypocrisy
The identity of the girls from the FR are disclosed ocassionaly. BUT NOT IN PUBLIC. We have met many guys requesting for a certain girl and sometimes we were glad to mention who was who at their place of work i.e. beer bar, MP, Hi So Club, etc. In my case, I have to meet you first. In fact two of the girls (one is retired) were darn happy with the publicity given at this site but that's another story. Don't make a big deal on this. Ah! I am TOTO FYI.

This was NOT directed at you, although you brought up Gaow and Saeng. ŬIt has been trumpeted repeatedly by other, more vociferous posters as some kind of proof that no harm is done by 'naming names'.
I can see how my timing might have suggested that I was aiming at you; it was more like another button pressed. ŬSorry.

Pinga - Although I may not share the strength of your feelings, I definitely share your confusion and think your algebra is spot on! But, in any society, things go fine for a while until someone comes along and screws things up. It could be said that the measure of a society is how these times are dealt with.

I've trained for over 20 years with Katana and can cut a free standing bamboo pole into 4 sections before the top piece hits the ground and can hit cigarretes stuck to a barbed wire fence from 20 yards away with a Colt 45. Up to you.  But, just because I like you I'd be willing to let you use an M82A1 Barret .50 cal from 1,500 meters away, if you like. See what a nice guy I am? Actually there was nothing that I "objected" to in the way either Chompoo or you expressed your opinions, I was just leaving myself a way out in case you said something later that totally screwed things up for me. ;) OK, so I'm a weasle, so shoot me! DarkKnight - Darn it, now you had to go and screw everything up because now I have to agree with you! I hate it when that happens! ;) "Guidline", I like that. Additionaly if one does as you suggest, others could simply PM the original poster to get the name or the details, which ever wasn't given, and then if the information is indeed given out, it will be done on a personal basis. That should work.
So, why haven't you implemented it already? Come on, what better things do you have to do than implement things for us? Oh, you have a life too? Sorry, couldn't resist. ;)

Those are the guidelines.
I do have to set up some rules (oh, that word again) though. I have to address the issue of cross posting, there was one such idiot that posted the same question over 5-6 threads, he was soon deleted and added to my ban list. Another one is with the use of ALL CAPS in their post.
