I am an accountant too.. I do pay myself B500 for each HJ I give myself.. then I put it into the kitty for my next trip...
The more I fly my kite in the USA the more money I have to take out girls when I get to Bkk ..

ps, you are an accountant and make US$25 an hour.. I sure hope that is after tax .. otherwise someone is taking advantage of you...

For the amount of work I actually do, I am way overpaid. I like it though. Keeps me in my apt and bills are paid and I have money for 3 trips yearly to LOS. Not the richest but then again I could be worse off.

you must be a big spender. I average about two sessions a day for the 34 weeks I am not in Bkk.. so you would be spending B238K in a few days..
Lasts me fine for the 120 days I use it.. of course, my g/f gives me enough freebies to make it go longer than it might 
regarding pay.. I too work only part of the year, but am disappointed if I am not making more like $45-50 an hour after expenses .. $25 is very low

wasn't trying to one up you, sounds like you are willing to take less than market rates for your services..
If that is OK with you, then I have no problem with you doing it ..
If I had been trying to one up you, I would have noted that I was making $50 an hour back in the late 70's and $100 an hour in the 80's ..
now I am semi retired and know what an accountant should be making. Bookkeepers make $25 an hour.

Going back to main topic of this thread....Yep! there is a settled price for a nice "service". You can pay 3-5K for a model at an MP (1.5h and one Bang) if you wish. Maybe you can try Thermae for a B/800-1,000 LT. In the same way, you can go to Annies or SweetHeart MP for a 1K service or you can get a soapy at Darlings for 2.5K....you get what you paid for. If you are skillful enough you don't need to pay. You can go to certain places where a freebie is more than possible.
Japanese guys are certainly big spenders. I was in Japan and a local beer at any restaurant or grocery shop is around 600 Yen (US $6,0) = B/.250 approx. If you would like to have a "nice" time at any Karaoke entertainment place be ready to pay up-front several hundreds dollars for a stupid talk and drinks. Ah! and the girls are not Japanese!! They are mainly from Philippines, Indonesia, Thailand and even Russians....US $150 for a "talk" with the girl is what I paid to "have an hour fun" with my collegaues at a Karaoke. It was pathetic...
Thus, once in Thailand, these Japanese guys feel themselves in Paradise paying B/.90/beer with a "show" included at any GG-Bar. Something irresistible for them. That's why these guys tip B/.100-200 any time without any problem at the beer bars and even more after a "service" with a BB/GG/MP girl....
How does this stuff affect us then?
Well, I think that the girls at certain places are getting use to it (extra tips) and high payments for their services. Places like Thaniya should be left for these guys. Similar TGs are found all around Bangkok guys, keep that in mind.
Likewise, some other GG-girls are getting use to a 3K ST because of these guys and other big spenders. What you can find at Camelot Castle and GG-bars girls of King's Group GG-bars (2.5K/ST 3K LT) you easily get at Soi Cowboy or even NEP for 1.5K/ST or 2K/LT. That is what a fellow was talking about within this thread....Once a TG received a BIG MONEY for a service they share the comments among others and finally you get a sort of "standard" in the prices among the girls at a certain place (Beer-bar/GG-bar). At an MP the prices are already fixed and that's another story as you can tip only if you really feel good with the service. Ah! and I agree, the LOSING FACE concept is within all this shit.
