Let me just address the age question.
Pls remember that asian people sometime add one year to their age. What I mean by this, is that when you are born you are one year old. So .. when your 1st birthday passes, you are now two years old. Unlike western standards, where you would be one year old. I hope that makes sense. So .. if she says she is 18 years old, there is a good chance she is 17 years old.
As for their id's, in Thailand it is common for them to have fake ones.
So .. if it looks too young and acts too young, most likely it is young and keep away from her.

This is really food for thought, everyone. I just returned from my first trip to the LOS, and I'm still learning even though I'm back on the other side of the "pond" now.
Being a typically naive newbie, I figured if a girl was old enough to be working in a bar, she was old enough to be barfined out of the bar. Seems I may have been mistaken!
I'm sure I've read on a different website that the age of consent in Thailand is 18, however you say here it is 19.
One night in Pattaya I was in the mood for a "pixie" myself, and found a fine example in one of the go-go bars there. I stand six feet high, and this sweet little thing's head reached the top of my shirt pocket! I took her to my hotel in the early evening for a great short-time, with no request for ID from the hotel because of the early hour, I think.
I think I remember her telling me she was 20, as I always ask but sometimes don't remember too well afterwards.
Anyway, upon my return home I was surfing a bunch of the go-go sites in Pattaya (research for my next trip, y'know),and here's a picture and profile of this same girl stating her age as 18! Of course, I have no idea how long the profile has been on the website, but you'd think if this was an illegal age that the last thing they would do is advertise it.
I have no desire to be sexually involved with any girl under 18, even though the age of consent in my own country is 16. As far as I'm concerned, as long as they're old enough to be out of high school they're fair game. Those that get their jollies molesting 12 and 13 year olds, etc., should be prosecuted to the full extent of the law. I don't have any kids of my own, but I do have nieces and I know how I'd feel if anything happened to them.
Another note about Thai ages - my last Thai GF in BKK was 33, but she didn't look a bit over 23, as she'd never had any children (a rarity!). She was perfectly formed, and cute as a button, and if I'd spent one more night with her I would have been head over heels for sure. Phew, close call -you'd have to have a heart of stone not to fall for some of these girls.

The "age of consent" in Thailand is 15. However it is an offence for a foreigner to "engage" with anyone under 19. As ABC mentions this effectively means 20 as they consider themselves "1" the day they are born whereas we are not "1" until our 1st birthday.

Sure can be a tricky subject, - had to check a girl recently, worked in a Bar in Nana on the 2nd floor, attractive, well "developed" quite sure of herself, also working as a dancer, not just a "dek serve" or young waitress ..... I've been here forever, and took her for 18/19.... she was ð15 ! ðDouble checked her ID, and eventually she confirmed it, she hides in the "short time room" when ever anyone comes to check the Bar, - and no doubt she is not the only one in this category ! ð - I dont know the answer, - except make sure you dont get caught with her in your hotel room ! ð ð ð

When I was in BKK in Dec. 01 I read in the newspapers that there was going to be strict rules when it comes to bargirls..
No one under 19 in a bar was going to change to No one under 22/23!!!
What ever happened with that?? Did it pass?
Also, at Patpong some of them girls working outside the King's places was very young. I hope they only work outside the GoGo/bars and not with us DOB's 
It's a shame that young girls get caught in this trade. And also.. it's better having an experiences 25+ yo who knows how to please a man rather than a shy 18yo who isn't into it..

Sure. I agree with your post. I'm sure many of us have been tempted to take a younger girl ( NOT UNDERAGE ) but I agree with you that a girl who is a little older and much more experienced is a much better bet.
