Nevertheless, using euphemisms, though perhaps nice for some purposes (e.g. not to offend gramma), does not change the underlying reality; however it may help those who find it hard coming to terms and accept their own actions.

I've only been playing the game for 7 years as a vacationer, for me it's gets better every time, I find it's all in how well your interview skills are put into to play, and it seems my intuition or getting a read on my potential prey has improved, possible due to being non drinker so having all my wits about me helps
I think girls dealing with drunken fools are much more apt to treat you as they should, an obnoxious idiot
But maybe all of the above has nothing to do with my success and it's just the fact the girls are curious and or get excited when they get the line my main interest is paddling their little bottom
A little good fortune doesn't hurt either
All my action is PTY, I'll leave BKK to all you heavy hitters out there

How you see them and refer to them, it makes a difference in how you treat them.

While that incredible initial buzz that romeland refers to has most definitely long since worn off (except in those rare, surprising moments), I find that, like don5252, my experiences in LOS have on the whole only gotten better with each visit. For although I am often drunken, unlike don, I am, like him, no longer a complete fool, or foolish, and manage to largely avoid the girls with bad attitude and find the ones that still make my head spin. 
Perhaps it has something to do with interview technique, but I tend to think it more fundamentally, for all of us, has to do with our gut instinct, which has been honed over time (and, in some cases, considerably expanded). This, of course, means that we no longer go fishing and naively see only attractive and not so attractive guppy fish.  Now we also see sharks and starfish and just plain old lazy bottom feeders, no matter how colorful and ample their fins may be. And we make our choices accordingly. But I don't think the contents of the fish tank has changed all that dramatically. (Of course, I can only speak for my limited time in LOS).
Alright, so the metaphor might be getting a little on the heavy side, but my point is simple; namely that seeing things clearly doesn't have to be a such bad thing. Okay, so some of the "romance" or "virgin" excitement may be gone, but the amazing GFE/Gik/Sexpot-who-wants-to-f*ck-your-brains-out-that-night-and-the-next-morning-too-and-the-price-is-up-to-you is still there. Whether they be surrogate lovers or temp girlfriends, or just women with whom, for once, we make an honest exchange, "it's all good," as my jack-mormon friend used to say before she asked me to blindfold her and tie her to her parents' bed.

Gut instinct as you say Quim or intutiion, same thing, in my mind, but for me the interview is still the determining factor
Should clarify some people even when under the influence can still get a good idea after a
conversation whether you get a winner, everybody plays the game different, but it does surprise me to hear some of the vets mention their experiences are less rewarding these days
Agree, maybe too much time in the LOS P4P scene changes (us) in a negative way making it less likely to attract the best of whats available

Likewise, I agree that coming from a more informed and knowledgeable position, IMO, enhances the experience, as it allows us to qualify, and focus on those experiences that are more likely to result in a positive outcome (and the aspired and appreciated 'f*** my brains into oblivion' temp GF).
Guys that exude a bad attitude, or project being 'users', while treating the girls as a means to an end -- invariably get treated the same way. The fact that they complain about it demonstrates that they are clueless to being the contributing source to their own complaint - and instead of introspective analysis, they just shove the blame collectively onto the girls.
Based on the proportionally large testimonies from guys that all have positive experiences, I would say that, as in most things, we are dealing with an insignificantly small, albeit vocal, minority.
The old adage of "you reap what you sow" applies, more so in LOS, it appears.

What helped me to make my experience better and better was my hard way learning curve to get rid of this silly focus on stunners (the famous Harold desease) more and more. Nowadays I hardly care about those model quality stunners at all. They look good and that's about it... I'm no longer interested in meeting/dating them... often hassle, sometimes fun, but never ever happiness.
My choice surely has to be good looking but only in my eyes, not in everybody else's eyes. A nice bright smile with clear brisk eyes in an overall pleasing face and body makes me melt away... If she then is able to see *me*, the person and not only *me*, the business opportunity, I'm all hers...
Some time ago there was this small cute waitress in Long Gun, name was Lin I think. She was older and surely not an eye catcher in normal terms but her smile was just overwhelming... When she was around I hardly looked at all the naked beauties any more...
So LOS is still good, not fading at all, you just have to master it...
