when i first went to Thailand,i knew nothing about the country and it's customs,culture etc.
after i got back,i started to find out about the Kingdom and one of the first things i learnt was that any public display of affection was bad.
maybe times are changing,for i always saw girls and falangs holding hands and kissing.
i found it was the girl who grabbed my hand when we walked down the street.
not disagreeing with anyone at all,but in my experience public displays of affection are common.
as to my comment about kissing in the village,i refer you to my last 2-3 FR's.
my thoughts on this matter are there.
and no,i have not seen many Thai couples being very affectionate.
but this is only because i have rarely seen a Thai man and woman together.
perhaps this is more common in BKK then Phuket.
obviously Phuket is a tourist hotspot and i hang out in the places where Thai men do'nt normally go.
but if and when i go again,i will change my ways and not touch a girl in public.
i would'nt want to offend anyone,Thai or Falang.

like i said its up to the individual mate...if you feel that you have that right to be kissing your TG in public please go ahead.
in Nokna's case the girls kissed him same goes for mine...but i do not know make the first move as i felt and understand that what their society accept. the thing to ask would be where they frenching him (were they Nokna?)
It's true that the people and place that are much exposed to western ways will accept public affection better but not all thais.

that was my question.
people say kissing in public is not a good thing.
there is kissing and there is kissing.
i have never done the whole french thing in public(as in the street,in bars,yes),but is a peck on the cheek or lips considered bad?.
or do people not class this as kissing?.
are we only talking about the whole tongue in mouth thing here?.
