I really enjoyed your reports and can just hope that one day I will be as "cool" as you were in the face of conflicts.
I have been here for over 3 years now and I really start to be "mai pen Rai" minded, but not quite as the Thais are, far from it.
I had 2 serious relationships with non working girls but blew it because of the constant headaches it brought me... in other words, me being a Farang with a Farang Attitude and expecting the Lady to become Western. When I think back, I realise how foolish I was. LOL.

Read the OP, since you are obviously missing the context, here.
This was a PR girl, that was apparently surrounded by other 'colleagues' that were into p4p, yet she was not. Now she is. Or maybe not. SMEGMA's not telling.

Well, at the end it turned out as complicated as it began.
I do not want to make this a long post... but...
I was ready to pay. I think she was ready to collect.... but I think pride took precedent. Had sex twice only. Ended up giving her some money many months later (after the sex) and it was in the form of me being supergenerous with a tip at her new place of work (she gave me a very strange look when I gave it to her).
It all happened under the "good girl" umbrella. Most likely she thinks I am a bastard.
