I know this (relatively) young girl of 22. She got into the business at age 18, hooked up with a sponsor shortly after for a few yrs and recently broke up with him. She wants to better herself and does not want to go back to the bar scene. Wants to get a normal job but those usually require a high school degree.
How can she get a high school degree or a equivalent (GED) ? Are there any requirements (minimum level of ed), how long does it take, is it really an equivalent?
Really sharp girl, excellent english, mature beyond her years. Just looking to hook a sister up.
Any suggestions?

I am sure there is more info but this was from a google search. If her English is half reasonable (god knows most american's don;t speak that well) then this is worth looking into. If nothing else, they may have other options.

The Thai government runs an excellent program for grades P1-M6, locally referred to as 'Kaw Saw Naw' (Kaansuksaa Nawk Rongrian- Education Outside of School). Studies are either Sat/Sun or M-F(eves.). You don't even need Thai citizenship to study, since it is under the categories of Fundamental Education for Literacy, which provides the same education to everyone, regardless of status, in order to raise literacy levels through all societies in this Kingdom, and also the General Non-Formal Education category, which provides the same education as standard, and also a graduation diploma, which can be used to further your education at higher levels...

My TGF just graduated from High School, having gone for the last 2 years. This is in Bangkok.
She went every Sunday. I believe she went for 5 or 6 semesters, with two subjects every semester. This last semester she took Art and Science. Previous one was English and Math.
If you want, I could ask her for contact numbers in Bangkok. Then your friend can call them and ask.
