Of course they are related!
In maths it is called the relationship of 'Inverse Proportionality'.
The further you are from marriage the better (and wilder and more frequent) the sex is. As you approach marriage it goes down and you assume it is because of the pressure of preparing for the ceremony. Post marriage, it is a steady graph downwards for most people.
