Stings??? Do the Bangkok police really do the sting operations with underage girls? Has anybody really seen it or just here say?

Just to complicate matters further. The birth is sometimes not registered until some time later. This registration date is the birthdate shown on the ID card, I believe.
So in theory you could have a girl who is 17 yrs old according to her ID but 18 year old in fact!
I know a couple of TG's and a few Filipinas who have this situation.
It's not worth the hassle - get yourself down to Thermae & have some fun with the more mature ladies who sit at the bar immediately in front of the door. They don't need an ID card but they could do with some of their own teeth!!

Dont know if anyone has pointed this out (I havent read the whole thread) but so many girls have false IDs with them in order to get into Clubs - minimum age 20. False IDs can be picked up at MBK... and of course many just borrow their sisters or friends card instead.
