Expatchuck, for those firmilar with the long joy story. She was once raped beaten (and married to a singapore man ) he had a business or two. And was threatening. I now know that is not my heart that wants this kind of girls. It is other parts of my body that needs there affections all the time. Trying to stay longer then one month with them makes me have suicidal thoughts. Just take it for what it is a distractions from real life. As soon as you go back to working and living with them 24/7 you soon see some one else that you rather stay with. The only choice it to get some seconds wives.

Very true, and a lot also mislead the girls into thinking they are something they are not, and can provide something (emotionally) that they cannot. Just as many lies are told to the girls and just as many games are played by the 'tourists', that's how the girls get hardened.
I guess I go back and forth on this good/bad punter vs. good/bad bargirl, depending on my recent mood and latest experience. Right now, I think the customers are the 'players'.

LOS is a dream world where most, if not all your dreams can come true. It is only when we get home and wake up and smell the coffee that reality sets in and even then we refuse to believe it.
But I would not have it any other way.

Ok bros, there's an update to my saga (you just knew this was coming, didn't you?). She responded to my last email with a reply that has blown my mind, and my heart, into smithereens.
For those of you who've taken time to PM me with messages of support and/or advice I'd be more than happy to share it with you..... since nobody here knows who she really is I wouldn't consider that a violation of her privacy. What it is, is a very serious and poignant letter that provides a small window into the mind and thought processes of a woman who is torn between love and what she does for a living.
I laid my heart on the chopping block for her to mince into tiny pieces but I got a very honest (although still heartbreaking) response from a woman I believe puts the lie to any preconception that are all just dumb, deceitful, cynical, hardened creatures.
Right now I am in the middle of a most torturous mindf_ck, totally unsure as to how to proceed. Brothers, I may have found the diamond in the rough so many of us are searching for, but she is now being whisked away to jolly old England on a one month visa by a short fat Welsh builder who fell in love with her on his first trip to LOS over new year's holiday.
Life can be so cruel..... decisions, decisions.....do I keep my heart on ice for my tii rak here in California until she returns, or do I use this opportunity, knowing she will be gone for a month, to butterfly my way around Thailand in her absence?
