True TU, but there are several things in my situation that is not in this guys.
1) I am legally married to my wife.
2) We live together and see each other everyday
3) Her last husband has never been seen again
4) WE HAVE A CHILD TOGETHER!
5) I owe her parents some money
So you see, I am most certainly not in the same league as this guy. If we were not legally married, did not have a child, and I didn't owe her parents money, I would leave without a second thought if I thought she was cheating.

You can not seriously be saying that a wife and the prostitute are the same or have the same type of commitment to the guy??
One is legally bound, whereas the other one has not boundaries.
And for balls. I think it would take more balls to admit a mistake and go crawling back to his wife then play the macho b.s card.

Well how about having balls for staying in a business that seems to be doing good, but is publicly ridiculed by a minority who never use the service?
I have been recoomending Krypto's limo service to a few people who are coming into town in August and was shocked he shut down after whatever happened between him and DG.
This seemed to be a profitable business with many satisfied customers and just a few detractors.

Yes, I lost face with my business. There is more to the story than most people know.
1) False accussations of drunk driving with a passenger
2) DrLove continuosly complaining about the thread
3) Some people had sent me PM's saying that they were going to use my service, but after reading the false accusations they would not.
4) I made very little profit only around 700bht for about 5 hours of work.
5) The Thai Taxi Mafia was beginning to notice me being there at the airport allot, and was shaking me down on a regular basis.
6) I work during the week as well, and on the weekends I feel it is worth more to me to spend time with my daughter than make a measley 700 baht on my days off.
7) When I am randomly stopped by the police, this has happened a couple times completely random, I usually have to pay 500bht so they will let me go. I am farang. This leaves even less profit for 6 hours of work.
So you see TU, it's not that I just stopped for no reason. I enjoyed it most of the time. But when it became more of a problem than what it was worth, a guy with common sense would stop don't you think?
Hey, I am all for doing it again. But no way will it be for 1,500 baht each way. I need to make some profit to get me out of the house on my days off. The Thai's will settle for that mush or less profit. I will not.
Sorry you feel this way TU, but I guess there is nothing I can do about it. Cheers mate!

Well, I am a little "cheap charlie" when it comes to material things. When we were married I did not have any money to give her parents for her. That set me back 80,000 baht right off the get go. (-80,000)
Then I was riding my motorcycle to work everyday from Ang Sila to near Laemchabang. My wife feared for my life and begged her father to help us get a car. He fronted us the money for the down payment (-110,000).
After a couple years I pay him back the 110,000 and sell the car. I want to buy a house. I sell the car for 200,000. I buy an A/C unit for our home (-15,000) and my wife a new motorcycle (-47,000). This leaves me with about 138,000 in the bank. I pay the relatives 80,000 baht for the dowery. This leaves 58,000.
My wife says to hell with the house lets get another car. I find the one I want and don't have enough for the down payment. The inlaws front me another 100,000 for the downpayment and pay the insurance 15,000. (-115,000)
I have paid them back 30,000 as of late, but still owe them right at 85-90,000 baht. So you see, it can be done if you have your wife on your side.

I am kind of sickened that you also blame me for the failure of your 'business'.
What you've probably learned is that making promotion for a business has to be done in the right places (eg Classifieds). Advertising it publicly may get you unwanted comments. Imagine to having McDonalds open a forum about its hamburgers.
If you charge 1,500 baht for a ride and make only 700 baht out of it for 5 hours of work, can you imagine how a taxi driver charging 700-1000 can do it? Lesson learned... stick with your regular job and let Thais make the pennies!
