BigDUSA, you are overgeneralizing. A lot of TGs have been traumatized by Thai guys, seduced and abandoned, as often as not pregnant and alone. A lot of these girls end up entering the "demimonde" (sorry, Trink) and hate all Thai men. Quite a few turn to lesbianism in their private lives, and what they do with farang is just work. "All BGs have Thai husbands/boyfriends" simply isn't true. If you said "most" instead of "all" I'd agree with you...
First Thai BG I ever lived with turned out, I discovered after 5 weeks, to have a husband. While I was keeping an eye out looking for a Thai guy, I'd overlooked a 59 yr old retired Scottish NCO from the British Army.
Switched to #2, and she hates Thai men, and we are still together after 15 years. No "maeng da" hidden in the background there.
So, if I got two in a row right out of the gate that don't fit your model, there must be many more, it stands to reason.

Interesting on why people think that I bought her. All I did was sponsor her.
As for the guarding, again, if she stepped out, then she does not get sponsored. I would never physically harm her. It's not like I had people following her all the time either. Just that I have contacts in Thailand, so if she was seen with someone else, then I'd know about it. And it's the same thing with her. It's not like she did not call her friends in other MP's, G-Clubs, ect. to make sure they had not seen me. Infact, when I did visit some establishments where her friends worked, guess who was on the phone when they handed it to me. It was her, saying how she knew where I was.
If I gave the impression that I had someone either with her or follow her all the time, that was not my intentions or true. Just that from time to time, people would check up on her, only because I was not about to sponsor her that amount and then have some other guy either reaping the rewards, or having her spend the money on some other guy!! She was never a kept female and could leave anytime.
And one more fact, we both were held to not seeing other people. Infact, I can say that she probably did more checking on me then I did on her. Everytime I had a business meeting in the afternoons I am sure she was on the phone to her friends checking to see if I was at the clubs or really at a meeting. Since we all know about the Ý"going to a business meeting" excuse.
I am not that tryant, hard ass my post might seem.
And as for the connections part, there are always people above others. But, having the females know that they should not think that they can dick us around because of those connections evened the playing field at times!!

I agree I should have used the word many instead of all. I am correct when I say that all the girls I've ever asked in LOS have told me they don't have b/f husband. My bg friend gave me the rundown on all the girls working the Kangaroo Bar according to Pen, she was the only one without a b/f, husband (what a surprize). I was surprized at the % of girls mistreated by the guys in their life.

I fear I may have offended you and honestly that was neither my intention nor my desire. You seem to be a decent guy. (Not that I'm in a position to judge anyone!)
My comment about gaurding your TGs was in reference to your "warning" that you had people standing by and willing to kick someone's ass for you. I'm sorry but to someone who lives here that is kind of laughable. Do I think I'm invincible - no. I've had my ass kicked before (for other reasons) and it may happen again. Have I looked after myself for a very long time in this country-yes. Would MY friends (especially Thai but incliuding the expats) standby and allow some outsider to assault me over a BG (I don't mean any disrespect to them with that comment - I just know some people are still going to insist that I did- but isn't it true that most people's reaction would be "What did the guy expect-that she would be loyal?" and then they would chuckle and shake their head. ESPECIALLY the Thais.).
Again I want to say that Iam not making excuses or justifications. There is a legitimate question as to the ethics of a falang who would knowingly participate. That is what I'M trying to discuss anyway.

I would never intimidate or physically harm someone unless provoked. As for the "kicking ass" issue. Just like in the U.S, if one of our friends gf's or wifes is either out with or being accosted by someone, then we would step in. So, my intentions was only to say that "if" the man knew and still was going to disrespect the other party, then he "might" get his ass kicked, instead of he would get it kicked!!! Hope that makes sense and I am not making this a worse situation!! ha ha ha!! Of course the lady would have to explain herself also!!

I think you may have hit upon an important point (maybe the pivotal one)- As others have suggested; Is your sponsoree the same as a wife or GF? And does it matter that SHE was willing (eager) to cheat on you. My (simplified) view is: If she's "yours" (in the right sense - I'm not talking about ownership) then noone's going to get close-she won't allow it. If she does allow/encourage someone else to move in, is she yours?
