MS, I know getting dissed by girls can be painful, but the laws of nature apply throughout the known universe. I wish it weren't true, but just because you're in LOS doesn't change that. Bar girls in any country can and will turn you down. Factors that even the most experienced brothers might not see may simply be aligned against you. Anyone who tells you why this girl dissed you is simply guessing. If you let this sort of thing get to you then it's your loss man. My guess is that you will eventually find a way to get this girl, but is it really worth it? If she finds you less than worthy you might have to be overly nice, pay too much, and/or have to put up with a starfish. That's worse than just cutting your losses and moving on IMO. My humble advice is to focus on girls who want you also and you'll probably be a lot more satisfied when everything is said and done. My best experience was with a girl who was a five in looks but a nine in personality.
Here's hoping you get whatever you came to Thailand for, and that you leave a lot happier and a little wiser than when you arrived.

As a matter of interest, given your previous experiences of women, how do you define 'more than a BG'? You should consider the possibility that you've now reached the female apex.
Actually, your waitress was 'more than a BG' - well, a bit different anyway. Despite what VJ & others say, it's perfectly obvious she's the only one for you. Very possibly your single hope in life. It seems that the relationship will have to be strictly platonic, but you can't have everything.

A lot of detail can get lost in a mere forum post. Unless we know exactly what happened from both sides, we're just grasping at straws. Why anyone would recommend a long-shot, soon-to-be-long-distance "relationship" with a girl who has already stated her preference lies elsewhere is beyond me. Well, that's just IYO. Others disagree. Look at Chateaujade - some people just can't get enough of the stuff and are willing to pay big bucks for it.
It's very possible that mansaturday is of this persuasion. All those women beating him is certainly suspicious, even if it's only a fantasy. Anyway, assuming that's right, look at the benefits if he takes my advice. All the unendurable agony he could possibly want, and he doesn't even have to pay so much as a barfine.

No, I was only surprised (the term shocked was rhetorical) that a BG would turn down someone based on nothing more than taking a look at him. That she would do it after talking with him or after spending 5 minutes by his side, yes, no problem. But by taking a look at him? Nicely dressed, not overweight, sober, nice smile (well, I think so), non smoker?
She is not the only one for me (as four BG since can testify), but she does have that little extra in her eyes. You know, that spark of intelligence? OK, OK, no one understands.

Well, I think we return to square 1 here. Except in a tediously technical sense, she isn't a BG, she's a waitress. Imho, approaching her like she was just another BG is probably where you blew it.
Is a mean masochist a contradiction in terms? Good point - I'll have to think about that one. Of course, if you're right, it suggests that SM is definitely the market to be in. The more you fleece the buggers, the more they'll enjoy themselves and the more they'll want to return for further exploitation. What a biz!

Survival skills, call it instinct or simply a learned ability to "read" another person feature highly in the mental make-up of these girls. If it doesn't they simply don't survive.
