I doubt seeing online copies of Thai IDs is going to help you (unless you're worried that the girl is going to pass off her library card as an ID). You won't be able to tell a real card from a fake one.
If you're concerned about this then the most important thing is to know the cutoff year in the Thai calendar (which is printed in "western" numbers so you don't need to learn the Thai numeric symbols). Also make sure the girl is actually the person in the photo.

In this example, her birthdate is 14 December 1985 (2528 - 543). She is still 18. So if her year of birth is higher than 2528, send her home.

Unfortunately, this is often easier said than done. For some reason, many TGs are quite startlingly unphotogenic and may look nothing like their photos - especially official photos for which they invariably adopt a dead codfish expression.
I've taken a couple of my regulars abroad and seen their passports as well as their IDs. I've no doubt that the former, at least, are authentic documents, but I'd never pick these girls from their mugshots.
Trying to guess the girls' real ages can be exceptionally difficult. I used to pride myself on getting it within a couple of years, but no longer. Know one - admittedly an extreme case - who initially claimed to be 22, as per usual. I was actually slightly anxious she might be underage because she's so fresh-faced and often presents like a girly-girly teenager. Turned out to be 30.

The age problem,well I`ll put my hand up to being rather stupid on my last trip,I got back three weeks ago.
I was down Soi Cowboy having some drinks rarher late and close to closing time.So I started to bar hop,stopped in two or three bars and nothing I saw did anything for me.
I thought I mite stop into one of the diddle bars across from Fannies as I know one of the mamasans there.
Had acouple of drinks with her and she pointed out a Dancer to me,good looking,tall,great moves ect.,she came down to me after her dance and had a drink.
Mamasan told me to barfine her and I did and not once did the age thing creep into my mind as when I stood up
sh was slightly smaller than me,I`m 5`8 so I would put her at around 5`5 / 5`6.
Got a cab and the normal bargirl chit chat and arrived outside my hotel,The Dynasty.
We go in and she is asked for her I,D card She replies in Thai that her wallet has been stollen and that she is getting a new one,they understand.
We both go to the room and have some sanuk.Wake up in the morning more sanuk.
My head had cleared and in clear light of day the alarm bells started to ring,sh_t she doesnt look 22 as the mamasan had told me,sh_t she looked a lot younger than that even though she was tall and solid in build.
I then asked her how old was she,with the threat of no payment.
17 YEARS 7 MNTHS.
You mite say oh what the fukc 5 MNTHS before she is 18.
In Thai law she is underage.
Well its happened to me and its not a nice thing.
My new rule is now no ID no go and I`m not going to make the mistake again.
Foot note I`ve been travelling to the LOS for several years now and I thought I could read ages of the girls.
She left the room, paid up and shown the alley exit by me.
It can happen to anyone,take care.

I've noticed some girls have ID's without pictures, what 's the deal here? How many types of accepted ID are there?

wow, and I always thought that 18 was the legal age.
on my first trip, I was with a couple 18 year olds. to me they looked anywhere from 18-20 years old and since I picked them up from go go bars, so I thought every thing was ok. like many before me I thought if they were working at a go go then they must be of age, right?
fast forward to my second trip to thailand. after spending quite a bit of time at a popular walking street go go in pattaya I befriended the manager, mamasans and a number of the dancers and found out that a handful of the girls were only 17 years old (and they were being bar fined every night). I asked how this could be and was told that papers could be faked and/or bribes easily taken. and this was a large well known go go. I could only imagine what goes on at the smaller places.
after that, I made a point of being extra cautious about the age of bgs.

I don't know about other countries but I was told by someone that if your an Aussie and you're caught with an underage girl then you do the time in Thailand and after that stint you are then transported back to Australia and start another jail (gaol) term under the Australian law.
I know I've never taken an underage girl back but my last time in Bkk I was in Long Gun and a girl there came straight over to me and started talking, and I swear she must've been 16 or 17, it didn't take long for her to leave as a girl on my other side started talking to me and I think she got jealous and walked away and stood near the entrance. Put her in the cupboard for a few years and she'll be good to go.
I've heard I few sayings down under that goes along this discussions that make me sick. eg
Old enough to bleed old enough to breed

Old enough to count old enough to mount
and the sickest
Old enough to wee old enogh for me.
