With the comment "you go home alone" I was just trying to drum home a point by going to the worst possible senerio, at the time of using that line I knew that there were other bars available, but if a person has this attitude at all their bar visits then the word would spread and thai people have very good memories.
Just treat the BG with respect, if they're not your type just politely so "thanks but no thanks."
I know of a expat who frequents the beergarden and a couple of times we have sat together for a bit of a chat, one night after he leaves one of the BG asked if I knew him, I said not really, we'll just talking, she said "he very bad man, treat all the girls very badly - we not like him."
I would guess that he would go home alone a few times.
I hope that this clears it up for you.

Mmm thanks for all the help, am just a bit anxious because this will be my first time in LOS  . The only thing left on my mind now is to find a GF-Hotel that isn't overbooked :/.

Have run into a couple of women in the soi 7 beergarden who are either drunks or into yabaa, and as a result behave in an extremely pushy and aggressive manner.
The mistake a lot of punters make is to assume that ALL these chicks are nice. Well, they're not and the sooner one learns to spot trouble, the better.
Normally, alarm bells start going off in my head if they start talking manic depressive or crazy stuff and if I see the slash marks on the wist.
Don't take any sh_t from them, I always tell such chicks 'sorry, cannot' and thereafter just keep silent, ignoring them till they spend themselves out and move on to the next fellow.

Yes I know, been reading them all, almost anyway .
What I ment is that many of the hotels I've been in contact with are overbooked.. But it will be ok will probaly find one..

Unfortunately 4 out of 5 times the gofer will not take the hint and will hang around even after finishing her drink. Slipping them a small bill is more effective in dismissing them politely. It's also more efficient as it doesn't contribute 80% of your cash to the bar, it doesn't force the girl to drink a drink she doesn't really want and it frees her up to go looking for another customer rather than being obligated to sit glumly at your side while she drinks it.
The smart girls will not only clue in pretty quickly that you're not interested in them, but they will volunteer to go get someone else (or make a recommendation). That's well worth 100 baht to me.
