TPE - "apparently that was my fault"
Well duh! Wasn't that in the marriage vows somewhere? Just be thankful it wasn't a fortune teller who told her! ;)
I had almost the same thing happen one time but I really blew it! When she finally told me, I couldn't stop laughing! THAT was NOT a good idea! ;)
But, I must say, you got one adorable baby there! It couldn't have happened to a more deserving guy! A happy life to the three of you, and anymore that happen to come along, babies I mean, not the things dreams are made of! ;)

Can but repeat my thanks Guys, - seems strange, often get requests to swap banners/comment on other Thai sites, but none seem to be as open/genuine as Bkk2nite, hence I'm content to just keep to here, I do think I probably upset the odd copy cat P/E ... but such is life, and of course the only reason I can often help/ offer advice, is that over the years, Ive probably fallen into ALL the traps, - so it is indeed the voice of experience !! As to our baby, yeah, that was a new avenue for me, and at this time of life/number of years in LOS, actually ideal - gives me something to focus on, rather than just another BG or JackD ! -

Yeah , thanks CD, baby is doing fine - mums a worry at times, too much time playing cards, and unfortunately never seems to win ! maybe I better send her to card playing school ..... - Actually is a problem with many TGs, the sponser cant figure out where the money is going, think perhaps they are spending it on a thai boyfriend, but sad to say, often as not they incurr huge gambling debts.

UPDATE .
I have been on a self imposed exile from the Forum for about 2&1/2 months but now that I am back here's an update on "Nong's" request for a baby with me :-
About a fortnight ago I stopped in Chiang Mai on my way to China (Kunming) and I spent a wonderful 3 days with Nong and her son .
Suprisingly Nong did not broach the subject of a baby and I was beginning to think that my problem had vanished .
Then on one of the evenings the 3 of us went for dinner at Sizzlers , a movie at Central Airport & stopped for ice-cream on the way back . We had been having an evening of fun and laughter and really enjoying ourselves . Then her son ( all of fourteen years ) asks me " Paew , why you no give Mae baby ?" . Nong tried to shush him - but even though at first I was totally taken aback I recovered and asked him in the kindest manner possible why he wanted me to give his Mae a baby . He replied "My Mae love you too much - Paew love my Mae - my Mae too happy have Paew - I think baby very suai ( beautiful ) and Nalak ( sweet ).
I had to think real fast . I could not use my planned explanation ( see my earlier posts ) that a baby would make him jealous because it was he who was asking for the baby .
So I told him " Jaime now 14 years old . Only 5 / 6 years then Jaime marry and have baby . Paew & Mae want to take care Jaime baby Roi (100) percent . If Paew give Mae baby now then cannot do ."
Although I say it myself - that was a stroke of genius . Jaime was very very happy with the reply and literally glowed and suprisingly Nong was also ecstatic . In fact she became all mushy and hung on to my arm till we reached home , where after a shower we had the wettest sex , she melted into my arms and whispered that she was very very happy .
Whew ! As I've said before - I am devious , but now everyone is happy and the situation has been diffused .

well done, hope the boy dosent turn out to be gay tho 55 [ just kidding ] - It does appear alot more TGs around these days, especially in more upmarket Pubs/ Clubs, who are not interested in Short time/long time, but are on the lookout for a farang who can offer security and provide them with a baby, many have had 1 thai boyfriend who dropped them, - so think that perhaps a farang is the answer ... which of course sometimes it is ... then again, if they inadvertantly run into some of the bros .....

Don't know HOW I missed the photo of your wife and little one! Really sweet, and that smile of pride is at least a mile wide! Although, well, not sure how to say this, tpe, but, ah, er, the family resemblence in little one's eyes look like they belong to ... okay, okay, I know I'm gonna get creamed for that joke! 555
But seriously, a real treat to see this photo, thanks millions for sharing it with us. BTW, my TGF's son started 1st grade today upcountry. So a proud mom is going home this week to make sure he's okie dokie. And when I asked her, "so you think he go University when he grow up?" she replied with "maybe!" She's not doing so bad either, and is entering the home stretch on her GED. And she plans on setting an example for her son. A world away from the bar scene -- one year anniversary away from it at the end of this month. Seems like a lifetime, for the both of us. And I'm not regretting any of it.

Hats off to you . I think that your happy situation is going on so happily for so long largely because of the way you treat the relationship . More often than not , on this Forum all I see are posts complaining of the insincere treatment by BG's - BUT most of us forget that if we really love the BG then it is we who should go that extra mile .
