Here are a few of your quotes. I think I see kind of a pattern in your post that I would attribute to someone born with a "silver spoon" in his ass. Someone from what I would normally term the "upptedy" class. I don't really think you know how to associate with someone of less of a social status that you seem to put forth.
Most of what I've read is how that no girl is accepting you, however you mention your "money" all of the time. Could it be your just an asshole that no wants to be with?
As mention by several members of this board that you seem to avoid listening to, these women are "people" also. A lot of them are only working becase some other asshole ran off and left them with children that they have to support, or they have parents that they have to take care of or brothers and sisters that they want to put through school so that they can have a better life.
Sorry if you have been disallusioned into thinking that you can just come to Thailand and flash a little money around and "have your way".
In a small way I think most of the Thai people have "shown " more class than you. Re-adjust your attitude. The people "women" of Thailand are not here for your pleasure.
What the hell is this statement suppost to mean? Aren't these girls entilted to feelings or or they here just for your pleasure?
The disappointment arises from the fact that one still needs to treat a BG like a potential girlfriend back home.
Come on! What is the point of NEP if the girls are just as difficult and choosy as the librarian or executive VP back home, eh? As I said before, I came to Thailand to take a step down, and to unburden myself: 'great, I do not have to impress anyone with my knowledge of 15th Century architecture or discuss the relative merits of US Bonds v. Equity calls.'
Besides, I need an ego boost. Being turned down by a BG is an ego deflater, I can tell you. It is not something I can brag about!
I see what you are saying. However, the young lady in question did have a customer the previous night (see my initial posting) so I presumed that she is customer-friendly.
I'm a little tired of playing the nice guy, and I've come out here to get away from those silly games.

I thought it was all dollar dollar dollar, and now I'm told that being a nice guy is not only a plus but also a necessity.
But... "you'll quite often find that money doesn't hack it after all" makes for depressing reading. It is a line I hear in Yurp (and is no doubt heard in the US of A too) and the whole point of coming to Thailand is to escape that line and its brother "nice guy gets girl" - I don't believe it in Yurp and I was hoping to find a place where my qualities (that is, dollars) can compete on an equal basis with the other guys'.

Just for the record, then, no, I am not middle class: very much working class actually.
It is precisely because I am not moneyed in European terms, I have to be a nice guy. And, unfortunately for me, it does not go far with European women; they are very much money-centred.
What I was trying to explain was that I had anticipated a much simpler relationship over here. After all, we all dress the same, status is invisible, and so the only way of assessing someone is by the 'first impression'; I reckon that by that standard I should be just about competitive.
Fair enough, one can't win all the time. In a way, that is reassuring - we are all the same, the world over: namely, human beings click or do not.
If my posts sometimes sound a little overwrought, it is simply a reaction against all the propaganda that 'nice guys win', 'women aren't venal'. Please, don't get me started!

Every guy who has been to Thailand has been knocked back by a BG at some stage for some reason.
This should not be a problem as there are plenty to go around.
It sounds like your ego is a little deflated by the experience.
Forget it and move on and your ego will be restored by the next beauty.
Finally do you really want to go with someone who is not interested in going with you?
I don't go with women who are not keen even if they are stunners.
Keeness goes a long way in my books.

TBH, I would find it very difficult to NOT ba a "Nice Guy" with any of the BG because they are so nice to me, I understand they have ulterior motives, which I accept.
Its same in UK, if someone is nice to me then I feel I must be nice back.

I am always one for taking things at face value, so if you meant it lightheartedly, so be it.
To add to this intriguing discussion, and to give you a small window into the minds of these ladies (as I'm really just as clueless as everyone else), I offer this anecdote. Purpose of anecdote? To show how at least one of these ladies feels about themselves and how they perceive the punters. To whit:
I phone my TGF, it's Friday afternoon BKK time, and she is on a bus heading south from her village, enroute to BKK. She has just been upcountry for 2 weeks following the death of her grandpa. She's somewhere north of Korat as we speak:
Balls: "When you get back BKK?"
TGF: "Maybe 11 o'clock night time"
Balls: "You go apartment?"
TGF: "Cannot. Nungsao [younger sister] haff key. She take care bplaa [goldfish]."
Balls: "Oh, so you go Soi Cowboy and get keys?"
TGF: "Yes"
Balls: "You know, teelakja, Soi Cowboy have farang mahk mahk on night after Christmas!" [a teasing note in my voice]
TGF: "Maybeee I do loooong tiiiiime!" [Followed by an Isaan cackle].
Balls: "Hmmmm, okay, well I call you wansao [Saturday] maybe 4 o'clock so you can sleep. Okay mai?"
TGF: "Oookay! Kit theung mahk mahk!'
So I call her late last night, 2 am my time. It's 5 o'clock in the afternoon, Saturday, BKK time. I've spent the evening at Khun Jeu Yai's residence, sipping Port, and philosophizing as a blaze crackles in the fireplace. I tell KJY about my TGF's comments, and we have a good laugh.
When I get back to my house, there is a message on my answering machine:
TGF: "Teelakja, why you not call me? You say you call me today! Pleeeez call me when you get back!"
Broken rule: never promise your TGF a call at a specific time and then postpone. She can do this, but you can't.
So I dial her mobile, and get a cheery "Hello!" from her. She is at her uncle and auntie's apartment. The conversation goes like this:
Balls: "Sawatdeeja, teelakja! Khun tam arai na, khup?" [what are you doing?]
TGF: "Go visit auntie today. Help her, uncle [actually pronounced "unkoe"] make, sell som tam today! Haff customer mahk mahk!"
Balls: "That sounds sanuuk. You make money mahk mahk?"
TGF: "Not sure"
Formalities out of the way, the conversation takes this turn:
TGF: "Teelakja, were you go? You say you call me but you not do!" (BG radar has flipped into hi-power mode, with fine image resolution pending)
Balls: "I go Khun Jeu Yai's house, we watch fire, drink wine [she has no idea what Port is], and poot mahk [talk a lot]".
TGF: "Oye, I worry nit noy, maybe I make you babababoe when I say I do long time. Because you not home nighttime."
Balls: [laughing] "No, I know you pootlen [joking]. I tell Khun Jeu Yai about what you say, he laugh too."
TGF: [relieved] "oh, okay."
Balls: "So, teelakja, Soi Cowboy have farang mahk mahk last night?"
TGF: "Mahk mahk!"
Balls: "You make taa wahn [sweet eyes] in nungsao bar last night?" (teasing her, just can't help myself)
TGF: "Oye! No, I not go Soi Cowboy!"
Balls: "Then how you get keys for aparment?"
TGF: "I take taxi, go Soi Asoke, call nungsao in taxi. She come out and give me."
Balls: "Why you not go in bar?"
TGF: "I shy!"
Balls: [trying not to laugh too hard]. "Shy??!! But farang not say bad thing to you if you go in bar."
TGF: "But eeeef [if] I walk Soi Cowboy, everbody they look! I shy!"
Balls: "all men, they look!"
TGF: "I shy, cannot!"
Analysis: so why mention all this? Because she was one of the top-paid gg-dancers in the bar her nungsao works at. Ironic, eh? But after quitting the joint a year and a half ago, she has reverted back to Thai girl status. She doesn't identity with the scene the same way anymore. She also has strong opinions about the way punters should treat the ladies at these bars, and doesn't see herself or her sisters at these places as low-life hookers who can be all be bought, no matter how bad the punter is. In her view, they're just her Isaan kin doing a specific kind of work in the city.
That, MS, is one reason the lady in question trounced your ego (inadvertantly). I'm sure you behaved well around her, but in the end, she exercised free will. As some of the other bro's have pointed out, you may have better luck with that same lady if you dropped in some other day, up to you. Despite all, they see themselves as ladies, have pride, and act accordingly. That is why we get the GFE, and it is distinctly different than the P4P experience I've seen in other parts of the world.
