I've been to LOS 19 times and never ran into this. Even as the resident cheap charlie who generally doesn't tip the BG's in the bar they have always been friendly. Unless the BG grabs me, I keep my hands off them and treat them with respect.

The idea that GGs would start getting violent towards unknown customers just because they won't agree to pay bar is completely ridiculous. Sorry, but no-one's that handsome.
LDs buy the right to sit with a girl - no further obligation on either party. This is perfectly well understood throughout the industry.
In my experience, if girls start creating a scene in the bar for ANY reason (and it's almost certainly a combination of drugs/booze and pretty severe provocation), management is on top of them instantly. A very rare occurrence, even then.

Hey guys some points need clarifying.
Yes it was a diesel filled nights and I did read some disparagin comments about US guys in Bangkok. No we are not American and we were well behaved in all the bars.
If anything cos it was our first time there we were daunted by all the moistness around us.
But yes my account is true - a couple of the girls we saw were really f_ucked up. And while we were prized for our looks we were not naive enough to know they weren't after our fat (wallets).
It may not have been Supergirls - I tried to verify it with one of my friends - that is the bar where the girl comes down from the ceiling in the bath tub????
Well it was not that place whatever that was called but a place very close to it on the same side of the street.
