got to read this thread after getting home.
interesting.
as ABC said,i don't need anyone defending me.
but i don't see why i should defend myself.
as people and myself have said,it is a preference of mine,and not set in stone.
i have only been with 7 girls without one and yes,they are regular friends.
if i was to think about it,i know i would find they make up a large percentage of my f_cks.
to my knowledge i have only asked 2 of them if we can go without and the others suggested it.
as i've always said,i have no problem with wearing them if the girl wants.
this subject crops up every now and then,and i post the same things back and it's getting boring.
as to the changing of my signature,that was a piss-take,but obviously too subtle for some people to realise.

ÝNokna, you however also added the little tidbit about the 500/1000 baht in your post concerning me. ÝNow if you had omitted that then I may have let you slide but THAT, as I took it, made reference to some earlier talk about my spending habits. ÝThat coupled with the main premise and timing of your post caused me to take the stance that you did have something to take up with me. ÝIf I misconstrued your post my apologies. ÝYou don't have to defend yourself for your actions, I said what I did to prove a point about how no one likes their personal choices to be challenged (and obviously you don't because you felt compelled to explain in your above post). ÝI have no problem with your condom habits. ÝHowever if you choose to question my preferences... ÝI am going to question yours... ÝAgain no offense.
Now, whether you like it or not these women are prostitutes, whores or what ever name you feel compelled to place on those women who offer services for money. ÝHuh, try not paying them in the morning. ÝSee what happens. ÝShe will revel in all her hookerdom. ÝThat does not mean you should not try to treat them nice and show them a nice side of you, your country, your race or even your punterdom! They certainly are hookers and whores. ÝBut just like the word "farang" it's how you use the term and the intentions behind it that makes it offensive or not.
If you say "these girls are just hookers...", that's offensive. ÝIf you say "she was the best hooker I've ever had" it's not!

Thats right, farang more often than not is a bad connotation of foreigner. ÝI hear farang spewed out by Thais quite often in a negative sense. ÝHowever I don't fault all Thais for that, some are just ingnorant to that fact and some KNOW it is a negative connotated word and use it as such. ÝWe must take people as individuals. ÝThe hooker I pick up out of the Disco in Nana hotel can be just as soft and sweet human being as my girlfriend. ÝHowever she is still a (insert your prose)...

of course i know what the girls are in name.
i just feel there is no need to use these words.
i think it demeans them and all of these girls who do this around the world.
my post about the 500/1000 referred to the fact it costs nothing to call them ladies.
nothing about your or other peoples payment of the ladies.
'try not paying them in the morning'.
no problem for me sometimes.
i have said this more then once.
4 of my regulars refuse to accept payment[in most circumstances].
on my last trip i spent 13 nights out of 27 with 3 girls and only paid 10,000.
not my choice,their decision not to accept the money.
but of course i probably paid much more with the food,drinks and gifts i bought them.
they probably feel better about what they are doing if they accept me buying them a dress or something,rather then me placing the money in their hands in the morning.
this makes them feel like a working girl,and not all of them are proud to be thought of as such.

i can honestly say i have not heard any girl call me farang.
even when i've walked past bars and the girls have been doing their best 'where you go hansum man?',i kept looking around,looking for the hansum man,could'nt have been talking about me.
i always expected to see ABC or BK behind me.
in fact i used to joke with with the girls,saying i was bad farang or suchlike and it caused much merriment.

i would not say 'she was the best hooker i've ever had'.
my choice of words would be,'she was the best working girl i've ever had'.
they provide us with a service and i love them for that.
i am like many on this board,like the girls and respect them for what they are doing and would never put them down.
those of you who think of them as the names you like to call them,up to you.
but in my opinion,you are wrong.
i may be an idiot[some of you may agree],but from now on i will not respond or reply to any brothers who continue to call the girls names.
