Well Hitler's 'New Order' speeches of the early and mid 1930s did not 'advocate' organized genocide of the Jews and have a very similar tone to Bush's speeches on terrorism.
To many people, the American invasion of Iraq did appear like 'organized genocide' (the Iraqi people were virtually defenseless).
Bush's 'evil axis' speech does sound like the rant of a meglomaniac.
Your argument is that comparing Bush with Hitler has no validity because Bush has no plans to exterminate jews. Bush does appear to have plans to exterminate 'terrorists' and is prepared to kill a lot of innocent people along the way.

They are similar however in how they are sending their countries sons and daughters into battle, solely for their own profit. (Dritten Reich, Oil – same same).
Unfortunately, both nations have a similar mindless patriotism that allows them to do so. How people cannot grasp that is beyond me.

Disclaimer: I am neither in favor of Bush, or zealously anti-Bush. Honestly, I couldn't care less what Bush does. Correction: I care insofar where it benefits me, or does not (economically).
That said, Abrak and Hyper -- what could be perceived of your personal attitude in this debate, of "You're with me, or against me", seems to ring awfully similar to the attitude you (Hyper) decry in DG, or both of you criticise in the Bush administration.
If you can't see the clear differences between the Bush administration and Hitler's Nazi Germany, then you are beyond help.
Abrak, as a hint - most of the 'genocide' in Iraq is currently being performed by Iraquis, or rather by one Muslim sect against the other. The US has done woefully little genocidal killing in that regard. I don't expect you to fully grasp these differences, but I just figured I would point them out.
Also, as a personal note, seeing as how no one cares about taking this to the Z Forum, and how this thread is hoeplessly f***ed, I guess it doesn't matter to continue this here... particularly since the moderators don't seem to give a shit either.

I knew you would pick on that, and you are correct.
However. I admitted I didn’t read most of DG’s posts, but that I was simply offended by the swastika. Hence I am not really fulminating against DG, but more against your stance that he should have the right to express his views, even if they would have (generally speaking again) neo-nazi tendencies. I stand my ground on the fact that people are to stupid to be granted such rights.
Where do you draw the line? (and this goes both ways I realize that)
Take drugs for example. Most drugs in itself are not physically addictive and when recreationally consumed by people in their right mind, they are amongst the most wonderful substances given to human kind. The problem is that most people are even to stupid to control simple things like drinking a beer.
Total pandemonium would erupt from giving people too many rights.

Oh, and before Hugh Jardon steps in: I am by no means cherishing the illusion that I myself am smart enough to harbor such rights. But nor do I believe that the USA is the land of the “free”.”

As you're living in the East why don't you give some Eastern philosophy a go.
They teach that to take drugs is bad only in that the mind must be unsettled to need the escape, that the mind desires, always and continuosly and that it is not the indulgence of it's pleasures and wants and badgerings and need that brings freedom but that it is the control of this, to be able to live with this, understand it, hear it but not to be a slave to it that brings real eternal freedom.
