The question posed at the start of this thread cannot of course be answered, like so many topics on this forum, without first defining your terms. The answers here (and elsewhere) once again demonstrate that "GFE" means many different things to different people. Depending on your definition, things may or may not have changed in LOS.
So here is my definition, i.e., what I am looking for when I say I enjoy the GFE aspect of P4P in LOS. It is the "girlfriend experience" in the macro sense (and I am NOT talking about macrophilia now). It is the ability to meet a girl in a bar, or pretty much anywhere, and more or less instantly have some girlfriend-like sanook -- the kissing, the playing around, and, yes, the sex. But without all the strings and obligations that go along with a real girlfriend. I am not expecting my short-term, substitute LOS girlfriend to behave like a real girlfriend, nor do I want her to. I want to have the macro experience, have my sanook, and move on to the next, with no hurt feelings. I want an experience that I can turn off and turn on, over and over again.
Not every TG is going to offer me this experience, whether or not I am paying her (and no matter how much I pay her). I have to hunt for it, always have, always will. But that is fine with me. They day I stop being able to find it in LOS across a reasonable average is the day that I declare the GFE dead and stop partaking. Because I am not generally into f*cking starfish or jaded pros. And it doesn't have to be "real", it just has to be real enough. If they are excellent performers, that is fine with me.
We all get into the P4P scene for different reasons. I can be honest here about the fact that I am a "sex addict", primarily in the sense that I constantly need new sexual conquests/partners. Of course I am addicted to sexual experiences in general. But the real issue is the constant need for new/fresh encounters.
I get bored sexually with a GF, even one great in bed, after a few months. And so I inevitably seek out someone new, whether I break it off or not. But the dishonesty of the non-P4P cheating bothers me. A few years ago I was juggling three girls at the same time, but apart from all the work it took, the lying got to me. And of course I got bored with all three of them eventually.
The P4P scene in LOS offers me an "honest" way of satisfying my craving, even if it is all a fantasy. And of course I know it's not real, but that doesn't matter. It is nevertheless a much more honest exchange than cheating on my girlfriends here in the U.S. The right TG understands that I want her to pretend to be my GF for a few hours or a few days, to allow us to enjoy ourselves as if we were a couple, to make me feel like it is real enough, and to walk out the door in the morning with a smile on her face and some money in her pocket. Only this will satisfy my hunger, for a moment. A regular "prostitute" or "whore" who refuses to kiss me and treats me like a "john" leaves me as empty as when I came, even if she makes me cum.
The key to the LOS P4P scene is that I can, with a little work and a little luck, satisfy my hunger repeatedly in a very short time, which is usually all I have. And as I stated above, my ability to find what I am looking for in the P4P scene in LOS has only gotten better, not worse, over the years. It is all about knowing what I am looking for and, now, being a little better at knowing how to look for it. And the bottom line is that I can't find the type of GFE that I want unless I play the part of a BF and show some respect and kindness.
