This is very true. 20 years ago when I was a teenager, it was easier for me to have sex with a girl than oral sex. At that time, a friend of mine told me he never wanted to have his girlfriend or future wife perform oral sex on him, as that was something he associated with p4p "bad" girls (I have not kept in touch with him, so I do not know if his views have changed -hey Zipper, could you be him?  )
Nowadays it is the opposite, young girls engange into oral sex much earlier than into sexual intercourse.
As Arc says acceptable sexual practices are a moving target.
Zipper, you have no idea what your daughters may beg their men to do for them in the future. Most likely you will never know -they wont be telling you . Specially if you lecture them with the same views you show us here.

Anal sex is very common in much of the Gulf as the women must be intact before marriage as a result the other " hole" is used . I think this may also be the case in other cultures where virginity is highly prized.
As you rightly point out sexual practices shift and vary much like fashion.If you add to this the different cultural settings ,age groups, sub cultural groups etc it is very difficult to accurately talk about what is normal sexual practice.
Nonetheless, I think the majority of women prefer vaginal intercourse and are not really interested in anal sex.
BTW For the guys out there what is the attraction of anal sex?

What you say about the Gulf certainly makes sense. I also read somewhere that anal sex has long been practiced in black Africa, mainly for contraceptive purposes.
Re what men get out of it, I think Arramsey has already answered that pretty fully. Personally, I tend to find it one of those things which promises more than it delivers, although it does make a change and.... well, I certainly don't turn down any kind offers which come my way. If it were on offer all the time (ie, lost its exciting scarcity value), then I think I'd need to be in the mood.
As for women, I don't think they get very much (if anything) out of it directly - unlike gay men, they don't have a prostate which can be stimulated. On the other hand, the anus is a secondary erogenous zone for both sexes. Women who like anal sex report that so long as they are being otherwise stimulated (usually clitorally), they can certainly reach orgasm during anal sex, and that this has a different 'quality' from an orgasm achieved either from vaginal sex or clitoral stimulation alone. I think we can only take their word for this.
But no, on the whole I think you're right and that relatively few women, even if they find anal sex pleasurable enough, would put it at the top of their list. That doesn't mean that some of them don't welcome a bit of variety from time to time. I don't suppose any of this concerns the average BG, however - so long as she's comfortable with anal (mentally & physically), and she feels it's advantageous to her business, what else matters?

My answer to this part of X's question is the same as what I've said already : Many women have told me that anal sex is very painful, that is why they avoid it.
The second part of X's question was : 'And while you are it can you also explain why the former doesn't degrade & humiliate them but that the latter does?'
I do believe that sex without true love is always degrading for a woman. This includes vaginal / hj / bj /anal / shows - the lot. The degree of degrdation is in the key factor. Vaginal sex being the most 'natural' form of sex is ( in my opinion) somewhat less degrading than (say) a BJ.
The women I've discussed this matter with have told me that anal sex is about the most physically painful sexual activity that they know off.
Anal sex therefore involves :
1. Degradation
2. More physical pain than other forms of sex.
For these reasons I consider anal sex to be the worst of the lot.
For me the concept of anal sex is also physically dirty.
I'm not a fan of shit, or of areas associated with shit.

Well OK, zipper, I think you've clarified your position at last - your personal objections to anal sex are a mixture of the squeamish and the ideological. Fair enough. No-one says you have to like it.
However, if you believe that 'sex without true love is always degrading to a woman', then you need to accept that there's one helluva lot of degraded women out there, and only a small minority of them are involved in P4P.
Most of us here will flatly disagree, of course. However that may be, people are quite capable of determining for themselves whether their sexual behaviour degrades themselves or is intended to degrade others. I certainly don't feel that I am degrading any woman who sleeps with me of her own free will, or that she is degrading herself - whatever her motives. If it is true that you have indulged in P4P in LOS, what did YOU think you were doing?

what you just said works against yourself, and it is one more evidence for my previous idea that you must have kind of a phobia about it.
You said that any form of sex is degrading when there is not true love:
I would love to know how do you feel anytime you go in a MP (where, in my knowledge, girls have not many chances to avoid costumers): can you enjoy it while you consciously demand "somewhat less degrading than (say) a BJ" ?
I believe that, in reality, most people in this forum show to care more than you about girls' integrity, because they do not make scales or degrees of "acceptable" degradation, but simply refuse to inflict any kind of degradation and/or pain to sex workers.
The key word for me is "freedom of choice".
You can choose to clean your very old grandfather ass because you love him as someone else's job is to get paid for it.
It would be humiliating only if and when "the cleaner" is a slave and the grandfather a jerk.
Personally, I think that sometimes, to provide sexual services, can be funnier than clean asses everyday.
