Occasionally. I know the group's owners, and I have a drink with Randy on occasion. Last time, I brought the distributor (from UK) of an Ibizan absinthe to see him, we killed a bottle of it there.
But that absinthe was mediocre, and since then a I've started a new company to make our own, in a neighboring country, and the products (four labels so far developed) are FAR superior. So when we start importing into Thailand (from across the Mekong) I guess I will go back to see Randy ("Randy by name, randy by nature") once again.
I just don't get down to the Pong all that much, anymore. And the thrust of the liquor business is export, as the stuff is way too expensive for the local market. And I mean Thailand, as well as the neighboring country.

Well, my identity isn't a deep dark secret. It's not like I'm Spiderman or something...on this board, I'm just hanging out, not really here to promote the biz, as this isn't exactly the sort of crowd we get too many subs from. (That's Bangkok in Thai, means "metropolis of angels" approximately, and the abbreviation Gaw Taw Maw is used to designate the city, the metropolitan government, and the Governor. The present Bangkok Governor, Samak, is nicknamed Jamook Chumpoo, which means "Guava Nose" for reasons that are obvious if you see his photo.

Always try to keep busines and pleasure very separate and this board is all about the pleasure. I know just enough to be dangerous.... to myself..... and not enough to cause much harm..... to others so think I'm doing well. Learn much more from the board than I can contribute but do take pride in starting the roundtable.

I have been married for some time now to a Thai girl but also have my mia noi .We met some time ago in a bar of course , but the attaction was very uncanny , I have met many bar girls but this one was different , I set up an apartment for us to use , she had her own place which was nice but I wanted somthing neutral ,
I went through the stages of trying to make her stop work ,which she did for a while ,I met her family her children ect ,she was lovely ,could I make her stop ,no.It was very clear that she loved her job , disco's and especialy sex , I am not a jealous guy so I agreed she could work and have sex with other guys , the relationship blossomed ,sex become better and better and we grew very very close , circumstances changed and we had to split , we are still very much in touch with each other I guess I would say that she is still my best friend , she has a new farlang sponcer and is living out of town ,he is now trying to make her stop work ,the problem is he is just not satisfying her in bed ,she spoke to me on the phone and laughed ,once a month he's giving it to her !!!!! , she's not holding her breath on the relationship and this guy will never let her see another man , He has gone through having her checked out ect but you know she's not stupid and has many friends around her to help ,The bottom line is somegirls just do like to work and do like the sex and of course the money that comes with it and trying to stop them doing what they like really will never work especialy in her case ,I know it's not like that for all cases , But this girl is REALLY different.

Yes, yet another memorable post from the mighty CJE; a great tale indeed (I am nobly resisting the desire to compete with one of my own). *BTW I would have known you from Goldfingers but I had a falling out with Randy long ago about a stupid thing that I'm sure he has forgotten - I however am still pissed. (Shows how mature I am eh?)
I think OEJ made an excellent point regarding your post (and which could also apply to Captain Farang's and some of my previous posts); "Perhaps it's the search for that diamond in the rough that gets some guys in trouble."
