Have used the search but don't see many contributions from the older guys. Ý
Speak up guys, maybe the youngsters can learn a lesson or two!
Im back for my second trip in sept. Just got over my first love and have to find another one.

I wish all you kids would keep quite and let the old men get a shout.
I am yes I am 71 been to thailand about 10 times but only two for sanuk.
I have no trouble at all with any girls from 20 to 54.
I am well dressed sometimes I think over done . always in a shirt and have been known to have a tie on.
Had a bit of a podge, but have lost a stone gym 4 times a week, and swim.
and Ive told you before , If you here some one whistling
just turn and say hello. the girls just come a running .
Oh you happy man, works every time.

I am one of the older guys and I have been to Bkk twice in past 6 months. Amazing place. I wondered was I reading total horse manure before I went. Now I realise that age is no barrier. While the size of the wallet helps
attitude, good manners, and a sense of humour will get you a long way. All the way in fact. Apart from the heavy breathing I find the companionship to be very enjoyable and makes me feel years younger.
My favourite moment was when I was taking off to Pattaya for a week TG muttered to me " Why you go Pattaya? Look for woman with big arse". It has now become a catchphrase with us.

Good on you Peter Pan. I'm three years behind you in age at 68 and still have no difficulty chasing the ladies.
Its all a matter of attitude and health, not chronological age. Thailand is truly AMAZING though in that young lassies in their twenties are not embarrassed to be seen in public with me at the beach or in town. Having a full wallet, of course, does no harm in this regard.

Gentlemen,
This sounds like an info-mercial for LOS, but here it goes:
When I started visiting LOS I was a very old mid/late forties, horribly overweight & unfit.
Now I am about to turn a very young fifty. There have been seven further tours.
From my first return I started training again, stopped eating junk and doing excessive hours at a desk. Whilst far from perfect, I'm down several belt notches, feel real good, and have felt better physically each tour. I can even keep up with my 26 y.o. beauty, when she used to wear me out three tours ago when I met her.
At a recent reunion in farangland, I was almost embarrassed by some old girlfriend's positive comments - never got that at school.
Therefore something is working for me. Maybe it's 'you're only as old as who you feel', but LOS for me has been a life changing & life extending (I think) experience.
Peterpan & Oldtimer, you are inspirational........enjoy, enjoy.

I am 50 y/o and have lived here for 2 years.
As with the respondents above I too had a regular female friend I visited whenever I visited Thailand.
For those visits lasting anything up to six weeks she was a gem. We went to places together and she stayed with me. The sex was anything any time.
This extended to the first four months that I lived here. Then the absurd financial demands began.... and the sex was directly linked to them. Ultimately I gave up when she began stealing.
When you live here they treat you differently since they have to put their "real" life with the gambling, the family and the Thai boyfriend, on hold while you are here. They can do it for a few weeks, but not permanently.
I now "rent" an ex-girlfriend on a nightly basis around five or six times a month. Since she requires Bht 100,000 per month to move back in that's all I can afford.
By all means enjoy your occasional visits here but don't imagine what you experience on those visits is what you will get on a permanent basis if you make the move.
