It is NOT just one act - BUT a long string of such despicable acts . If you care to read the original Thread ," Be very careful these girls are f_cking players " you will see that 3 or 4 months ago ( or maybe more ) ccvvbb started out accessing this BGs E-Mail and PUBLISHING them on this Forum . He also PUBLISHED E-Mails from guys who were writing to her - and in spite of objections he has continued to do this .

This being a novel ( i.e. a work of fiction ) we cannot be sure :-
(1) The E-Mails are factual or just made up based on what the author has experienced . &
(2) If they are factual - whether the author has the permission of the people concerned .
Without knowledge on the above 2 points it is futile to compare it to the current discussion .

No harm done. Simply we have a difference of opinion. Believe me I have spent more than time and money building this relationship. To tell you the truth I have flown to LOS every month for the last 2 years to build this relationship. But I still believe a background check, whether it be PI or e-mails (and I'm only talking about BG's) is quite in order before getting started.
The games they play I don't find fair and don't appreciate falling for them. I only use a little education, ok maybe it's not the most ethical to self protect as these girls are extremely talented in the acting area or should I say their lying ability is way above mine. I realize it's their job. I also feel it's my job to protect myself and besides all the trips I use my education which as you can guess is quite heavily in the computer field. Again, this is only at first to see if there is a remote possibility of having a long relationship. If not, then yes I move on or stick to the p4p scenario.
Ethical, don't believe we can compare with how we were brought up compared to how these girls are taught. I am not bringing my culture or ethics to them, I try to understand their culture and their business and deal with it. As we say, they are very good "players", I'm only trying to get to their level and also be a good "player". Again I find knowledge how I obtain it, PI, over 11 years now. The game gets boring and looking for truth, the odds are slim, but as you can see sometime you do get lucky and find that special one who also you can trust is telling you the truth. Again, I fully agree this takes time, something some of don't always have the luxury with work.
Again, I don't have the acting ability they have but if I have knowledge before getting into something long term, I feel I'm at least starting somewhat on an even ground.
Agree with you totally, after the relationship has developed, I would not go snooping into my TG's e-mail address and certainly would be upset when she goes digging thur my wallet. At this point, it is "you want to see, I'll be happy to show you anything you want to see".
No hard feelings on my part about the dictionary, but please don't generalize everyone is in LOS for p4p. I realize that should be the general rule of thumb to save yourself in the first place and have fun, But some of us are tired of the game and some people are different and actually want that special someone in their life.
No hard feelings pal, merely we have a difference of opinion. I accept yours, I hope you accept mine.

I could kick myself now as I just recently lent this very book out to a friend of mine, so I can't check. ÝBut I *think* I am right in saying that
1. Ýthe correspondence in that book IS real. ÝAt least that is what the author of the book tells us.
We have to assume these letters are as real as that posted by CCVB. Ý
2. Ýthe author had BG's permission to print letters, but not the permission of the farang guy the BG was corresponding with. ÝIdentities were protected of the people in question. Ýie. if a letter was from John in London he changed it to read, Kurt from Dusseldorf. ÝAnd also the same protection for BGs identities.
Obviously the authour would have depended on the BG's cooperation or he wouldn't have had access to letters with which to write the book. Ý
3. ÝThe book isn't a novel or a work of fiction, it's a factual account of a man who got in touch with BGs and questioned them about their relationships with farang guys, and the BG allowed him to be privvy to the correspndence between them and the farang guys. ÝThis is what he published. ÝÝHe also talks with some Thai woman who isn't in the p4p scene herself, but who helps the BGs with practical language help to corresond with the farang guys. Ý
Whether or not the author tells the complete truth is another matter... but it is not sold as a novel.
I'll check all this out as soon as I get the book back, but I am 99% sure I am correct. ÝThat's why I thought this book was very pertinent to this particular conversation. Ý

Thank you for that. After reading your last post (hate that phrase), I admit I am in a better position to appreciate your concerns. But then I also see that there is actually less difference of opinion than I imagined. Because you have invested 2 years in this relationship, which is the kind of investment I was talking about. I truly admire your dedication in flying to LOS every month for 2 years, as you say. And then there is your 11 years of LOS experience which actually makes you a seasoned veteran not to be lectured to. Let me just say sorry one more time, friend.
I also went back to your original post and re-read it and I was surprised that I missed that very important point you made about taking your GF to the internet cafe and asking her to show you her mailbox. That is simply a very practical and straightforward way of doing it. No snooping involved. Obviously for that to be effective surprise is crucial. No prior notice. In a non-P4P area even this might be objectionable but at least this has the plus of being straightforward and effective in a circumstance where a serious man is getitng involved with a P4P lady.
Obviously you have your heart in the right place -- and your wallet, as well, so far. Wish you ample luck, friend, and I do hope you find your soulmate whom you have been hunting for so long. Ý
