MrJoe, Respect is earned. I think if you look at it coolly, your previous post was gratuitous, and although somewhat indirect, frankly, snotty. I was trying, by admitting a weak moment, to cool this all down. The answer was to ABC, and you could have left it at that. Sorry you didn't. haam sup

Indeed respect is earned. Am I to take it that if one has not earned your respect -- which I apparently have not -- than you feel it's necessary to disrespect them? Fine. I have no respect for such a code. Again, there is much humor in you talking about being snotty or leaving things alone. How is that you are the only one who can decide how long a dicussion should go on? Or who is allowed to participate? No need to answer, really. I'd prefer to be left alone. But if you enjoy antagonizing me, there's little I can do about it, is there? Other than hope I can display a bit more maturity and restraint than yourself. Shouldn't be too hard, I don't think.

Still the fallout continues... Seems to me that BK has ruled on this business now. I don't particularly like his solution, and no doubt many others on both sides of the argument don't like it very much either. But then compromises are not made to be liked, they're made to be lived with. Re: respect has to be earned, etc. This has been trotted out a lot recently, in relation to both other posters and the girls. But I'm with Yurune here. Seems to me that complete strangers have a right to be treated with a reasonable level of respect, and to withhold it is just boorish. In order words, they start with something in their account. They may lose this or add to it on further acquaintance, but they shouldn't start with nothing. Now it is possible to argue that a prostitute, by definition, forfeits any such right. Under the surface, I'd say this has been what this whole dispute has been about. If so, we might as well resign ourselves to it resurfacing again and again in different guises...

I said I had a weak moment. That said, I think you have read one too many Chompoo post. ÝI guess if he drones on forever, everybody will take what he says at face value. I probably shouldn't have expressed my annoyance with X and Kris, hence my 'weak moment' comment. ÝBut I explained how I feel about cheerleaders and those who wait until everybody else fights it out, and then blurt some gratuitous comment. OK - you've weighed in, and scored your points with the feminine 'diversity' here. ÝWould you like to add more fuel to the fire, or have you had your say?
Wow, even your apologies are illogical and disrespectful. You had a "weak moment" when you sniped at X. Then while seemingly apologizing for this "weak moment" you snipe at X again, but wait, you thrown in the gratuitous comment about Kris. To cap it all off in response to MrJoe you refer to that "weak moment" (actually that was two, but who's counting) and go off against him. Perhaps your refusal to address me directly is causing your bottled up hostility to lash out at others. I could find absolutely nothing in MrJoe's post that was rude or obnoxious (or even 'snotty'), but it was a direct reference and accurate rebuttal to your out-of-place and unrepentant hostility towards X and Kris. Can you illuminate which of his phrases was so offensive to you or where he grossly mischaracterized your verbal assault on X and Kris? You do seem to have an awful lot of "weak moments."
