"Private Dancer" - The on-line cult classic novel set in and around Nana Plaza in the mid-90's is now available in print for the first time.
To celebrate the publication, a launch party is being held this Friday 4th Feb in Hollywood Bar, Nana Plaza (top floor left hand side).
Author Stephen Leather will be signing copies of his book which can be purchased in the bar at Bt350 each.
FREE FOOD and SEXY SHOWS with Happy Hour prices.
From 7.30pm until 9.30pm.

The ending remains the same but now includes an epilogue to bring the reader uptodate with events since 1996. Unfortunatly non of the farangs do very well....

This Monday I visited Room 511 in the Ambros Mundos Hotel dedicated to Ernest Hemingway.
It was spooky looking at his old typewriter and imagining him tapping away in Old Havana (La Habana Vieja).
I saw one of his books there called 'To Have and Have Not'
I wrote in the guest book:-

After a free Barbie at Corleone's myself & another BTF member hoofed it down to Hollywood 3rd Floor NEP. Huge spread of food & snacks laid out. MSB there as advertised. Tequila shooters all round. Purchased one of the few remaining copies (I think MSB said he brought 35 copies). Met Mister SL, got my book signed & had a bullshit. Met a couple of cute girls - especially a hostess named "Bee". My mate got a book & shortly thereafter MSB was "Sold Out" - fine time was had by all.
Off to Ball in Hand for some 9 ball. Thanks to MSB & SL. I will cherish my copy.
