Interesting to know if they allow you to work as well ( aka Australian study visa's).
But I suppose 1 day a week studying and 6 mongering is the preferred option.

Clever marketing idea. That's called identifying a niche. Walen... Hmmm. I wonder if I know the owner of this. In any event, (having looked into it) the Ministry of Education's rules for starting any kind of a certified school (necessary for the visa and certain tax benefits) are much stricter nowadays than they used to be; now things are required like size of each classroom, fire exits, etc... It's not always easy to find a building that fits the requirements in Bangkok.
Actually I know a couple people who have actually started on this program for the visa benefit. They will be starting soon. I'll keep us posted about how it goes for them.
PS: Mel: The issue of work, even if allowed by the visa, would still technically require a Work Permit issued by the Ministry of Labor. Of course, there are ways of getting around that.
Education, Immigration, Labor... So many ministries involved.
PPS: A couple of the teachers look nice. Might not be so baaaaaaaaad...

His name is Andrew Biggs. He has a school of his own called Biggs Academy or something. I just speculated about the owner because I happened to know a professor by that name Walen, who has also been here a long time (and is in fact rather gay).

sounds like a good alternative to stay in LOS is anybody here doing this, are the teachers female, goodlooking, possibly in uniform, & most importantly if your a problem student can after class disciplinary action be expected, (or requested?)
