I was talking to a couple of friends in LoS and there may be bars closing on 21 - 23 Feb because of Makha Bucha and a possible election / voting day around the same time. Has anyone heard any news on this.

I am a bar owner and my people are telling me that - Thursday the 21st is a public holiday - Budda Day - so all bars must close. Then Saturday and Sunday - the 23rd and 24th is another election day. All places selling alcohol are supposed to be closed. I guess Friday is okay. That's what I hear, but I am far away.

Thursday (Macha Bucha day) closed
Friday at 18:00 closed until Monday morning
the following weekend there will be a closing also, Sat. at 18:00 until Monday morning
that's 4 days of closure for this 29 day month
