Yahoo picked up on the Post's "Why is Thailand a haven for Criminals" story with a video report. I didn't even have to click on it to know where it would go.
Sure enough, lots of footage of Nana and 'Pong. Thriving sex industry makes for a den of all evil.
The western mind cannot fathom sex not being a crime, and proves once again that it must be supressed.
sheesh.

Not really surprising - whenever there is the usual 'investigative' piece, you can expect to see the same videos and pictures of Bangkok... Oddly enough, you never really see the same kind of hard-hitting 'investigative' pieces detailing how the US leads in child prostitution and child pornography (Yeah, another #1 rank to be proud of, boys - sarcasm dripping!)
Oddly, it seems like Philadelphia is leading the way when it comes to child prostitution being wide-spread - and when it comes to 'sex tourists' seeking minors, the customers are invariably from the USA first, and other developed nations second... a detail these hard hitting journalists love to just brush under the table...

I didn't see it in the hard-hitting investigative piece you linked us to either. Nowhere in the article does it make the claim the US is #1 in the areas you mention.
Your claim about Philadelphia leading the pack of perverts is also not stated in the linked article. The only reference to Philadelphia made in the article is the location of the person being interviewed.
Nowhere in the article does it mention the customers are "invariably from the USA first, and other developed nations second." You seem to be painting with a very broad brush.
Would you care to give us some links for the claims you have made? You may well be right, but I don't know anybody that will take your word for it, and the link you provided certainly does not backup your suppositions.
PS: I read all five pages of your link.

That vid report yesterday was pertaining to a russian arms dealer, Viktor Bout, they picked up in BKK...I was gonna post it but figured nobody would care for the "Outback Bloomin' Onion" advertisment at the beginning of the vid...

NAHHH,,, I do berlieve perhaps the US members are the most "caught" or most "advertised" but I do NOT think they are the worst culprits.
This most heinous of crimes against humanity is despicable,, I have avoided all knowledge on the subject as it makes me discusted to be a fellow human.
My extensive travels in Vietnam eventually led me to know of the plane loads of Koreans that flew into Vietnam for such things,,, as I staed I try very hard NOT to know because it is beyond my comprehention.
My first " live" example,, came when I was walking the the streets of Manilla,,, yep out looking for a beer bar. Saw this lovely looking old b loke and his grand-daughter out window shopping,, Mel thinks to himself,, isn't that lovely,, he's met a nice gal here in the Phillipines,, probably married and now thev';e got a beautiful daughter whom he is taking out shopping ( hope he buys her a nice dress),, then OHHH then next thing I saw they where playing Tongue hockey,,, OHHH shit. What do you do when you want to remove someones life but you also know what Phillipine prisons are like,, yep RUN like hell.
Sick world we live in,, time to make a little more room in my opinion.
