For your information, Saudi has blocked many URL's and we are unable to get them if using an ISP in Saudi.
All of the bald headed dick from Nana Plaza has his sites blocked and virtually any site that has some magic words in it are blocked.
I cannot access Pattayalovers or Pattayabargirls forums and none of the links for porn or ladies on this site are accessable. I frequently cannot access links placed in a post.
I do not know how it works but my guess is that if you are using an ISP, the government can block any thing they want to block and you will not be able to access it from Thailand, regardless where the site is based.

My company has e-mail tracking and even if you are sending an e-mail to a colleague and just saying "f_cking idiot!" about some manager it is tracked.
This is not even state of the art !
There is software that can track and I suppose block just about anything ?
I am not a techno-head but I am sure some of the whizz kids on this forum will know what can be done to 'f_ck' the operation with modern software?
There was a time when the Internet was new and anarchic, crazy and fun with a lot of freebies.
Those days seem to have come to an end.
Caused by all those bad terrorist and how to make an A-bomb sites ?
Well one excuse is as good as another when control is exercised by those in total power.

You surf to a non-blocked site that allows you to redirect traffic - i.e. you surf via another site.
I have one of my servers set up for this purpose. All I need to do is set up my proxy settings to be my server's IP address, and I'm good to go surfing from anywhere that would otherwise block sites I go to.
I can't stand censorship.

Gut reaction about what is going on-
Just got a feeling things might change
