Before 9-11 nobody had ever high jacked a plane to run them into buildings.
After it was known what they was doing with the planes the 4th highjacked plane passengers kicked the sh*t outta them high jackers.
I think it was common practice before 9-11 to coopurate with a high jacker

Firing a weapon in a pressurised aircraft can cause its own problems.
This Ghengis Khan chap needs to be sectioned under the mental health act, but since it happened on a Thai registered aircraft, effectively the incident happened in Thailand and is subject to their law. I don't know how this is affected by International law. As with many reported events it would be difficult to separate fact from dramatic reporting.
It could be suggested that Khan was reacting after discovering and reading Dirty Guru's posts. "Get me outta here!"

For the peace of mind of all, it is humanly impossible to open any door of a pressurized plane flying at altitude. The way the door moves prior to opening makes it swivel inwards before rotating outwards. Presure differences make the amount of force needed too great for anyone to handle -or even two or three people.

encountered when firing a gun on an airplane.
In many cases this will cause depressurisation.
Then the door can be opened. It is 'OK' to leave
an airplane if you have a parachute.

Part 1 goes something like this...
J. Jacka$$ buys it and and King is unscathed. Johnson, who announced 4 days earlier he wouldn't seek re-election (probably from guilt over sanctioning the hit) has a change of heart and enters the '68 race, winning in a landslide with Humphrey as his VP.
The Johnson-Humphrey-King triumvirate perhaps finds a way to get out of Vietnam earlier and advance civil rights more quickly. The riots of '68 never happen. Nixon never happens.
With Humphrey as President after '72 a more sensible foreign policy is in place, one where the US doesn't support the Shah of Iran for starters. The Iran hostage crisis never happens, Reagan never happens. And the US ends up with better "allies" in the middle east than the House of Saud and the Israelis.
Box cutters. Yeah, right. It's one of the least plausible fictions ever foisted on an all-too-gullible world.
It was an inside job, clearly. The "hijackers" probably had guns. Most or all of the phonecalls off the plane were faked. Mossad was probably behind it all as operational managers with the complicity of several elements inside the US governnment -- start with Bush Inc., CIA/FBI and NORAD.
Bush Inc. gets an "in" to shift towards the Iraq war, profits all around. CIA/FBI gets the Patriot act that gives them their domestic spying program which has always been their masturbatory fantasy. NORAD is just a patsy, but note that its commander during the worst lapse by any military agency in history, Gen Ralph Eberhardt, ends up with a promotion.
He ends up being top man at NORTHCOM, the newly created Northern Command, which: "Plans, organizes, and executes homeland defense and civil support missions"... All code words gross for violations of the posse comitatus act.
The only question left are...
-What will Bush Inc. blow up to steal the 2004 election?
-Where the f*ck is the Congressional investigation into 9/11?
-Why is Osama bin Laden still breathing TWO YEARS LATER if he had a hand in this? Unless he's an asset...
-Why was the WTC steel scrapped so quickly when it was critically important evidence in the one of the largest mass murders of the century. (Dresden was a war crime, I don't include it.)
It's a long list of questions.

I became suspicious when the FBI claimed they found one of the hi-jackers passports in the rubble !
You can vaporise a building of steel and concrete and an airliner but that little paper passport stays intact!
Vancouver you ask important questions!
But
Many others have asked the same questions and have produced more questions than answers?
For instance the American radar agencies both civil and military would have known somrthing was up for quite a time. Not too much was done.
Very little adds up.

It is unfortunate when something doesn't add up too many people shout conspiracy. The facts (or lack of them) should speak for themselves. The Americans I know (not Michael Moore) can see this and actually are now asking more profound questions about their democracy and their rights. The perception on this board is that most Americans are reactionary and believe in everything their President says or does and everybody else is a whimp and a liberal (lefty). This may or may not be true on this forum but in reality and again just going on the meetings I have had with Americans, they have been concerned about the system ever since the President won the election on a judges ruling. Where indeed will 'our' country be in five to ten years from now ? I will add that they usually look past and through the simple Democrat vs. Republican argument and to what is actually happening to 'their' country.
