If there had been unequivocal condemnation of Islamic terror acts by Muslim leadership in almost all cases, then I stipulate that such anti-muslim sentiment would be minimal.
As it was, the silence by clerics, or the highlighting of repeated inciting clerics, has not helped Islam's case in popular perception.

I drive commerical Craft (boats ) watertaxis-
The law also applies to my discretion-
Usually, I never make a fuss- but can refuse on following grounds-
Disgruntled- refusing to comply with instruction immediately- (eg sit there please)
Agressive- drunk- under influence - or suspected of being so- medically disabled - may cause trouble-
Emotionally distresed- insane- smelly- dirty- and/or may not pay-
It would be easy for me to leave Americans behind on any undisclosed grounds-
Loud would suffice-
However, as I am paid well to transport people (water Taxis are expensive) I refuse only more extreme cases-
The airline refusing the men on religious grounds (as the fears are unfounded) does not really stand well in reasonable circumstances-
Its clearly a discrimination-

Thankfully, US policy does not seem to be in the hands of hotheads. To nuke the whole f.M.E. would be a disaster far worse then peeing into the wind, my dear TL. Just consider how many nukes you would have to drop there in order to wipe out at least 5 billion people occupying a vast geographical area from east of Europe to west of Asia, south of Russia, just short of China. Barely a month back, the world trembled with just the thought of radiation from one devastated nuclear energy plant in Fukushima. Americans even panicked that some radiation was already blowing into their west coast. Need I say more ? You would devastate Europe in the process, and Russia. And infuriate China. And what about dear Israel ?
Spare a thought, and desist from talking like the very people you seek to wipe out.
And you don't want to ignore the fact that the Middle East has some of the most incredibly beautiful women on earth. Have you not seen them on Sukhumvit, pausing at the wayside stalls and, while their men haggle with the vendors, casting thirsty longing eyes at you as you walk past ? Ewww, I don't refer to the black sacks whose faces are covered, but to the young dazzlers in head scarves or black capes framing their pretty faces. If you are half a man, you would have felt that tug in your heart as their black sparkling eyes meet yours, and a smile flashes for a brief nanosecond before they hurriedly look away to check their man did not see what transpired.
One of the world's biggest tragedies is Islam and what it has done to keep those lovelies out of the reach of the world's gallant knights.

You know outside here in a Thai/cambodian border town - its pouring heavy rain and dark-
An hour ago the sunday market was a mixture of cambodians from their side of border and Thais all shopping-
many young mothers with babies - piglets slaughtered fresh and bought up at low prices- whole sides of large pigs- chickens and fish still alive-
A sea of sweets and fruits - and market goods-
Total harmony-
Dispite recent border unrest-
I am sad at the endoctrination of America and to a lesser degree Australians with this border security stuff and fears and hatreds-
The USA will for decades to come be a target of extremists because of its attitudes towards peoples-
Some good movies have highlighted the Middle eastern problem - and thats a first step-
A black President another-
I would love to see the day come when America weak and broke no longer plays on the world stage as a policeman /terrorist state-
I am just glad that The power shift to asia will mean more world tolerance-

Daffy,if you would deny Hasidic Jews the right to board a plane presumably you would also deny fundamentalist Christians the same right.
While I feel the world would be a better place if neither of these groups existed I would support their right to board a plane once they had satisfied all security checks.
Surely every person regardless of religious belief(or no such belief) has the right to travel by plane once they have passed security examination.
While I concede the pilot has very extensive powers to make decisions as to the boarding of passengers these powers do not confer the right to flout the law.
The pilot does not have carte blanche to make whatever decisions he thinks fit.He has to act reasonably,and in accordance with the law.
If he was satisfied that some passengers might resort to violence if he allowed the 2 clerics to board after they had satisfied all security examinations,not once but twice then, in accordance with his duty to safeguard the flight, the correct decision would have been to disembark the passengers who had threatened violence,not deny boarding to the 2 clerics.

It must drive DG up the wall with all the innocent killing that is going on in the South of Thailand, and the US isn't involved. Then again he probably just ignores it like he does anything else that doesn't involve the USA.

The pilot didn't refuse the persons because of their religion, he refused them because of how they were dressed. Don't confuse the facts.
For a country that has the longest continuously running government in the history of the world, we must be doing something right.
If you decide to change from being a Muslim, and denounce Islam, you are killed. That is the only way you quit being a Muslim of Islam. It's the only religion that I know of that is this harsh with quitting, and one of the reasons they are the second largest religion. Your parents enroll you, and you have no choice, as other religions give you.
To the person that asked how Buddhism is discriminatory, show me a female Buddhist monk. There are nuns, but no monks that are female.

then they have no need of an airoplane.
