Well when you have a bunch of clowns following a faith system based on myth, and ways "borrowed" and flat out stolen from cultures which way pre-date the supposed heros and ways of biblical texts, you can expect a circus.

Not a fair shot my friend - not consistent with your otherwise good judgment:
1) GW's speech was specifically targeted at forced child prostitution/slavery, against which I am sure you are certainly in complete agreement; it was NOT against consenting adult prostitution.
2) George is no more responsible for the actions of his brother Neil than Clinton was responsible for the dumb acts of his brother, or than you are responsible for the acts of your brother if you so have.
3) The trial discovery did NOT show that he was a "consumer", "customer", or whatever. What it DID SHOW was that he engaged in a freebie (granted it was probably a prostitute but not so proved as you state, but just possibly arranged by/the gift of a friend, or the hotel's VIP treatment, or could just as well have been groupies wanting to score a big name). Let him here who would not accept such a freebie, cast the first stone! (No hypocrisy now  )
4) ALL humans are more, or less, hypocritical; no one religion can claim a monopoly. Humans have trouble living up to rules of morality; some religions have more rules of morality, some have fewer. Those with more moral rules than others are simply ipso-facto more guilty of hypocrisy. Check it out.

So was this program last night, but alongside filming of various gogo bars giving the impression that Thailands
sex industry was full of underage girls again, therefore bending public opinion against prostitution in general and all single men who visit Thailand yet again.
I mean the general sheep see this sort of thing I imagine every place is full of 12 yr old girls cause they cannot relitivate anything its called propoganda even though camaflouged under protecting children which is a bloody good thing.
N I have no hypocrysy, having no believe except doing what I want when I want to., as long as not harming others. I pity people who have nothing better to do than interfere in other peoples lives and dictate them how to live what a shallow excistance for them...

All though not a formal rule as such, religion discussions have in the past often needed at the end the use of BK's laser mouse.
Religious discussions have a tendency to become emotional and end up being a bit irrational. In the past there were some threads that ended being disrespectful of Buddhism... and they were rightly edited or deleted (anyone remember that famous gold chain?), other posts went the same way when discussing the Muslim faith, and they too were deleted. In general, the consensus ended up being that generalizations and stereotyping were not good ways to get going with religious discussions.
Not a very smart comment Harry. However keeping with previous practice (old, since we haven't had any such topic in a very long while), it would be nice of you to edit your post.
P.S. By the way, I am not a very religious person; actually, I am not religious at all - but I do respect the fact that faith can bring up strong emotions that may not seem rational to many -me included. It is for this reason that I both respect those who have any faith, and avoid trying to discuss the topic with those that take absolute views on any religion and/or its followers

Religion is definitely NOT a subject we should be discussing on this forum, unless it's just a query about why the BGs do certain things (customary).
The one I can think of recent was the one concerning why sprinkle bits of the bottle of whiskey around at the opening. While this isn't religious, it is a custom that some could be curious about...
such as the BGs or bar owners placing a shot glass of whiskey on the altar with their Buddha images in the morning, etc.
Basically were all a bunch of hypocrites if we are followers of any religion and yet engage in P4P. I can't think of a single religion that condones it...
The locals are quite shocked when they ask me what religion I practice.. cause I say none (too bad BG isn't a religion)
9/11 compounded my "I don't need religion" aspect on life...

However that said, I believe that silentbob's statement below referring to Christians is for those same reasons MUCH more seriously deserving censure, as such statements deserve absolutely no place on this Forum.
