BTW, and this is an honest query, had Peter Brock ever raced out of Australia/New Zealand? I am asking this because although I have a strong interest in motor sports, I had never heard about him.
Well, I did google the guy: great local carreer indeed.
But, seems that Brock did not travel well... He ran in the "24 heures du Mans" a couple of time, failing to finish every time.
He had also some funny moments promoting so called "energy polarizer" (i'll omit the description, let me just say that anybody with a notion or two of physics would laugh at it). Not sure if he was a fool or a crook on that one though.
As for this thread itself, I am sure learning a lot on the ganging and mating rituals of the aussies on this forum... Talk about the power of provincialism!
Funny that most aussies I know face to face are way over this, so maybe it's a web thing...
