As forwarned earlier in this thread SQ is cutting 2 flights a day from their schedule until the end of the month.
This will leave them 3 Flights a day. They plan to reassess the situation on the 20th of November.

Clinton to visit Bangkok next week

US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton will be stopping off in Bangkok next Wednesday on her way to Indonesia, where she will be attending a meeting with Asean leaders.
The US Embassy in Bangkok said the visit was aimed at underscoring the strong bilateral ties and Washington's support for Thailand's recovery efforts following the severe flooding. While in Bangkok, Clinton will be meeting senior officials to discuss shared interests and regional issues in advance of the East Asia Summit, which will be held in Bali from next Thursday to Saturday.

As Hillary still has presidential aspirations; as Secretary of State she you look like shit if she did not visit one of the US's closest allies in their time of need.
Hell, if she can visit a war-torn Afghanistan then visiting a flooded BKK is no issue.

This is quoted from CNN:
Tide marks on the walls of many of their houses in this part of the city show that the water level has dropped only slightly in almost a month, which suggests the 11-day prediction for the floodwaters to drain out of Bangkok may be ambitious.
"It will take at least a month," said Supparathit (a consultant to the government) of Thailand's worst floods in 50 years. But that of course depends on those mighty pumps.
Really folks, take the government projections with a grain of salt.
