Maybe the poor guy lost his job after September 11th, he is a failure? So someone like Saddam is better capable of governing you? He has alot of money. You think people with money are better people? Bush and Kerry have alot of money, they are good? I feel sorry for people who think that way, reminds me of the Thai Girls who try to get as much money off some poor farang. I'd elect a person who worked for what he had.
I come from a country with the most opportunity, I own 2 houses made some smart investments and I never have to worry about money again, I never think I am better than anyone because I have more or I spend more money. People with money are not better people, some can't even spell. I'm not a big fan of Government, and I think that is where we differ. Government sucks in every country, mine, yours, Thailand.
Bush is still going to win, it has nothing to do with Iraq and that won't be the deciding factor. I think most people feel that Bush isn't the best, but still better than Kerry.

BTW, you failed to see the point all along from the beginning. Which was that you were disqualifying someone for just being rich and wanting a US$ 200k a year. What is the other side of that? That is the same as you suggesting that a poor guy would do a better job. Kerry got ALL his money from marrying the heir to the Heinz Ketchup fortune, a women who was previously married to a different senator who passed away. Kerry's second biggest asset is his hair.
Bush is not all that wealthy, probably about $10-15 million. He made most of that when the Texas Rangers baseball team was sold, where he was the general partner.

Ah, What Rubbish!!
I do not bother to read all the postings inbetween, but get this fellas:
- Dont focus short term on who's president
- Don't focus short term on the distribution of wealth and whether you like the current tax policy or not ( I don't, I think it is a terrible mistake and I am an economist)
- Don't get hung up about whether we should be at war in Irak or not
- Dont get hung up whether GWD had the intelligence to stop the 9/11 or not
- etc, etc,
there are so many questions to ask a resourceful nation.
But get this right: the normal american, they are the good guys,
YES, US is my best friend.
I took my family ( whilst I had one) over the ocean to Florida after 9/11 for three reasons:
1) Because it's a nice place
2) Because it was time to show whom you're with
3) Just for the hell of it.
I am critical to the US on a lot of issues because I am analytical and they influence our lives, but leave no doubt, the people of the US of A are da men.
