addams,, I have limited control of my wifes thinking,, god knows I have tried.
What can I say,,, poor lady is exhausted from birth 3 weeks ago and a screaming little man 24 hours a day since.
Also knowing her Mother is here in Australia, and most of her family is 400 KM away from BKK lessens the emergency thinking.
I don't think anyone said its Sanook ( fun / enjoyment).
As I am not a citizen and as such perhaps my thoughts are unwarranted but I will use my right to freedom of speach anyway,,, I choose to take neither side in the political argument but one thing above all I truly believe in is the wisdom and love of the King, for his people,will rise above any other factors.

that is Maj. Gen. Praphat Sakuntanak. army spokesman.
he is repeating in more or less what the words on the blue screen say... read back a few pages for translation.
apparantly there is a new blue screen out...

I agree with your thoughts about the King and god knows where Thailand would be without him. hope it all settles. however it ends, it sets back the country a long way.

myrth, I hadn;t really thought about the capatalist mercenary approach,,, but yes I guess the next 24-72 hours does open a good buying period.
I fly in mid October and although a favourable exchange rate would be happily accepted but I WOULD prefer a lack of military hardware on the streets.It's hard enough as it is fighting off the lady-boys without having to dodge tanks rolling by.
