No mate, all taxes are included in the original purchase price of the ticket. Adds a fair bit to the price to - total taxes departing Singapore is about S$50 but departing Oz its closer to S$150!!!
However you should have the A$300 ready because if you are heading to say, Melbourne from Singapore, Tiger Airways only take you to Darwin and so you are still less than halfway there. Jing!!! Enjoy.

Never been charged a Farrang price, many places have tried, but one of my Thai business cards usually suffices and if not a photocopy of my Thai work permit. Dreamworld, Ancient City, Safari World etc etc all for local prices.
If you're legally living and working here you shouldn't have a problem, if you're on holiday you should have your "home currency converted holiday fund", if you bring so little that you get upset by paying a few dollars more than a local Thai, then somethings not right, and its not the dual pricing !
