Sukhumvit Soi 4 is becoming a battlefield!
I met a girl tonight who told me that a ladyboy slit the throat of a farang on Soi 4. She works the street on Soi 4 and was questioned by the police about this. The police had the ladyboy's picture, but not the ID card. Then, I saw an article about a farang murder at the Omni on Soi 4 in The Nation. The story in the article is consistent with the story from the girl. The timeframe of the murder is consistent with her story. The fact that the farang was regularly taking both men and women is also consistent with her story. Evidently, the farang was severely tortured with burns and electric shocks before he was murdered. If there are two murders in a month (that we know about) on Soi 4, then there are probably many more violent incidents we never hear of. Maybe the timing of these incidents are just a coincidence, but I have to consider the possibility that lower Sukhumvit is a dangerous place.

Then again, if you just consider his weekly column for what it is - biased ramblings - then it is still a good read.

Stickman published the story as a letter. I now notice he has removed it. Obviously he relies on the integrity of the writer and it is impossible to filter every wind-up !
I generally find his weekly useful and I think some of his detractors are jealous? There are a lot of Farangs with time on their hands in LOS ?

ok I heard through one of my wifes daughters whose husband is a motorcycle taxi driver in the area.
A dutch guy in his fifties was found dead in a hotel in soi 4 the other week. He visited Thailand a lot and was heavily into SM electric shocks and all that.
He was found dead with his plonker burnt to a pulp the official verdict heart attack.
He had been with a lady boy the hotel said. Other women of the night said they knew him he was a pervert who got turned on being burnt with electric shocks. Also from burning his sexual partners.
This is exactly the way it was told to me on the tam tam
no way to tell if true but so f***in what. This happens every now and then lady boys killing falang in and around soi 4 so whats the big deal.
I spent a month in soi 4 last trip I luv it reminds me of the red light in amsterdam seedy place at night f***in bril.

I dont know why you lads get so worked up this happens now and then. Some years ago a Falang was murdered by a lady boy in the dynasty inn, my wife found out what room when we stayed there (back in the 90s) no f***in way she would stay in the room, it was at the back. You know pee (ghosts) and all that.

It was Omni Tower, Soi 4, It was a Dutch guy in his 50's, been staying in Omni for the past 2 weeks,and he is dead. His guest was a ladyboy. Omni has security cameras in all the lifts, in the lobby etc etc, they got 1 photo which isn't too clear !?!
Omni now insist in ID cards for all guests
