Drunken Brit runs amok on THAI flight

A British Airways baggage handler went on a seven-hour drunken rampage on a Thai Airways International flight to Bangkok, the London-based Sun tabloid reported yesterday
Rashid Khan, 48, caused terror on the flight from London to Bangkok when he twice tried to open a rear door, the paper said.
Khan, who works at London's Heathrow Airport, also ran up and down the aisle swearing at flight attendants and other passengers. At one point he crawled under a seat to grab a woman's leg, the Sun said.
Finally, British holidaymaker Greg Thompson, 37, seized Khan, allowing THAI cabin crew to place him in plastic handcuffs.
Amateur rugby player Thomson, of Kent, England, said: "I thought enough's enough."
Thomson's girlfriend Laura Triptree, 30, added: "Attendants had to pull the man away when he tried to open a door. It was terrifying."
Khan, who was flying to Thailand for a holiday, was arrested in Bangkok and fined Bt3, 300.
Last night, Khan at first |denied involvement, but later admitted the full details, adding: "I don't want my wife to know about it".

News organizations do a great disservice to the good British, etc. when their reporters simply categorize these assholes, i.e. Khan, Richard Reid (Shoe Bomber), et al., as 'Brits', or whatever.
Suggest that reporters refer to them more accurately, i.e.:
"Rashid Khan 48, Asshole, caused terror on...".

Well I just seen where Jessie Jackson is now visiting Thailand. I guess all countries have their embaressments. I am sorry to admit that he is American. The good thing is, nobody will understand what the hell he is talking about. Talk about slaughtering the English language.
This guy is a first class con guy. I cannot believe the money he gets with his Rainbow Coalition. He always manages to show up like ants at a picnic you just can't get rid of him.
Now in BKK. His name should have been on the political black list. How did they miss that one.
Agreed, the bad people always make the press to sell the paper. Good news just does not sell. They tried a experiment on running a 30 minute news program in LA a few years ago. After 3 weeks it was cut, viewership dropped to the lowest rate in years for the TV station. People love others misery.

I fly Thai Air a lot. Usually a majority of Thai's and most are too timid to do anything. It took another "Good" Brit to give this guy a good ass whooping. Man I would love to see a video of this, talk about your reality TV.

Yeah, most people (especially those in the USA) have no patience anymore for someone f*cking with an airplane in flight. A friend from South Africa was up this weekend. He said he couldn't believe that those planes were allowed to be hijacked with box cutters. His comment was that in SA they would have torn them to bits. He told us of one plane were a hijacker entered the cabin of an SA plane, the pilot told him to sit down, the hijacker fired at the pilot, grazing him in the head, so he turned around and decked the S.O.B. The co-pilot landed the plane. He said SA's don't have a sense of humor about this stuff either.
