I had one manager send a presentation to all members of his department of 60 people. The.ppt file was 5 meg. Within the next 15 minutes I had another 9 copies of the email in my account (Now 50 Meg total) This was not a reply to all but forwarded (you may be interested in this) mail. As we only have 20 Meg in our exchange mail server for corporate mail most people who keep mail on the server soon have a full mail box. One dist group member was so prolific (sp) in sending out "Interesting information" I have set up a rule to auto delete mail from him over 100K he must be getting the message as he has receipts switched on and I always say send "deleted without being read"
I agree some of the features of outlook are good if used sensibly but a real PIA when used by morons.
I love sending delayed emails that used to confuse my friends to thinking I was still at work. Now we have a portal that everyone can log into so that trick to persuade my boss that I am still at work no longer applies.
