Can we still let lose our true feelings and emotions (in other words have at it) in the "new Z" forum?
Or will there be just one set of rules for all forum members to adhere to?
Personally I like ze freedom of expression in ze "Z"  It sorts ze boys out from ze men.. Can I use Z letter Z? 
Also, can we have a list of banned members so we can vote who iz allowed back in und who iz not?

So long as it's confined in the Z-area, sure, why not. Just remember the basic rules that we have alrwady established. And in the Z we will discussing pretty much about anything, like iPhones too!

The nice thing about newer forum software is that users can set up both which forums to subscribe to, but also a list of specific forums to ignore, by default (thus, you can for example have the LB section to be ignored, by default, and an opt-in for new users).
That and multiple ignores and it will make for a nicer forum.

So we may then have Big1 back? (not many may remember him) That could be funny. I liked it when our most idiotic members were like him. Although a total idiot, he was the fun kind.
BTW, for some reason many local posters with lots of knowledge have left the forum (the likes of Sauron, Mr Joe, and a few others). I think their discussions at a somehow "deeper" level was a great contribution to the forum. I do not have any suggestion as to how to bring back that level of discussion. Perhaps to be less tolerant with the obviously idiotic posters, like it used to be 5 years ago... again Big1 comes to mind.

I remember Big1, dating back to 2002. I think Sauron (aka The Sour One) and his short fuse moved onto Laos, Mr. Joe had lots to say with many years experience in LOS, and miss the contributions by CMore, who left because of DGs racist posts.

I hope you dont mind someone that has only been here for 24 hours making a couple of suggestions about how to improve the forum.
The first one seams an obvious thing to do, allow photos in say the field report section and maybe other sections as well
Secondly, some seam to be concerned about some members going over the top, have a few respected members act as monitors with the right to remove offending posts.
If these 2 things have been spoken about before, I apologies.
