The Internet is like the world - some small percentage of the population is total idiots and do not know how to behave in real life and on the Internet.
I read 2 online forums regulary. The second one is this one. The first one is polite and to the case, even after almost 10 years online. I'm still surprised how this could be. Maybe because it discusses a more technical and not so mainstream subject.
bkktonite, however, will always attract some idiots that put their frustrations into words.
Only real working medicine (apart from banning etc.) is to ignore them. They want publicity. Flaming their posts is getting them just that.

don't you think reciprocal ignore is a bit too far though ??
wouldn't it be enough to just indicate that such-and-such user is ignoring you vs. completely blanking out their post
I think it's pretty funny that when a few had me on ignore all they wanted to post about was me, pretty silly 
but again I raise the case of CyberBKK who posted personal info before he put me on ignore, now if he had me on ignore when he posted that info, well I would never have known, NOT cool

when using Talk or chat there's rarely anyone there, but,,,
if we could have an option like msn or yahoo messenger that tells us when our mates are online, it would draw more of us to that function.
on another note, the chat/talk page wouldn't drain our post limits & we could go over such things as a group i.e. the upcumming plans for PTTY-RT & prequel
yes, I know BK, a huge task, maybe you can think of an easier way to alert others to their mate's presence in Talk, i.e. a friend's list ??
