Is this place roughly opposite the Star of Light ?
I've never really looked enough around the area of patpong 2, always finding myself being mesmerised and drawn by the magnetism of SOL.
But if this place, the Executive Lounge is open at 11 a.m., it would be a pleasant respite to indulge in a drink ( non-bj accompanied) alternating with a SOL (bj-accompanied) drink. It would just mean tottering over the narrow width of the soi, back and forth until the taxi came for you, or until you couldn't move from one of them.

We're not talking about Madrid, are we? I seem to remember seeing a sign something like 'Executive Lounge' higher up on the facade of the building.
I've been going there once in a while for many years, and it indeed opens early, lots of older expats, demure women. They advertise the best pizza in BKK, but I think that applied sometime back when Falcon was Foreign Minister...ask some of the girls there, they'll remember

The Executive used to be located across the street from Foodland on Patpong 2. When it opened it was quite good. I haven't been there in quite a while.
Can anybody give me an update on the Crown Royal on Patpong 2? LastSurvivor and I went in a few months ago and there was an absolute stunner in there in the afternoon. Crown Royal opens at 1300 daily.
Madrid is on PP1 and will be there as long as Dang is alive. Probably longer since her daughter is now helping run the place. Still the best SOS in Thailand.

Executive Lounge, that was the place still there across from SOL, adjacent to the narrow staircase up to SuperQueen... It may have moved to this location from near Foodland some years back. It's probably been 5 yrs since I've been in it. I don't remember the outcome at the time. All these places, these club places, each have a couple awful pretty girls in them.

Yes, Executive Lounge is still there, further down across the soi from SOL. Unobtrusive. Just what I like. Must go there sometime.
And Crown Royal I know, is quietly chugging along with its steady ballads and 70's piped music and aged expats in the dimly-lit narrow bar, right bang next to the Electric Blue Thumping Go Go so one hardly ever notices it. And it does open at about 1 p.m. every day.
There are a few other scattered bars around Bangkok, few and far between, in which you can leisurely take pleasure in having a drink or two, without having your flies ripped open, the ambience is not so electric as other bars and the softer delivery of music comes as such a shock because you realise that you can actually hear the conversation of your companions and can intelligently respond without having recourse to lip-reading and mime.
And of course expatchuck and seajohn are absolutely right, seasoned explorers of Thai Thighs that they are.
It is in these few and far between places that are not frequented by the usual crowds of either tourists or residents that occasionally you may be lucky enough to find an absolute stunner or two.

.....................which reminds me of a time, some years ago, when I was walking down the Upper Sukhumvit Road ( meaning, : the stretch of it far from the lower numbered sois like 4 and 5 ) when I saw this incredible girl walking in my direction.
As we approached one another, I was better able to make out that she had a stunning face which, together with my far-distance impression of her having a lithe and lean body that she moved with the suppleness and flexibility of an animal in the wild, I was determined to drink up to the full visual intoxication of her exotic physicality as much as I could, before I passed her by.
